The staff are really, really friendly and always manage to have your washing ready before you expect. It costs around a tenner to have a suit dry-cleaned, which is slightly cheaper than other launderette's in the vicinity, and it can be back the same day as long as it's handed in early enough. I live miles away and preferred to travel to Krisp + Kleen than use any of the other launderettes closer to home. We had no washing machine for the first couple of months in our new house, so I practically lived in the place. Well, I dropped stuff off for service washes every fortnight. They even know my name now! Prices for service washes vary depending on the size of your load, but I always had the feeling they made very little profit per bag and charged mainly for the washing and drying. Unfortunately the other day when I took in a duvet to be laundered, and asked about the options for doing so, I was greeted with a look, like I should already know that. Well considering the price list on the door is out of date (either that or plain wrong) it's just as well I asked. When I went back to collect the duvet, the same lady served me and was much more friendly. I had already paid though!! And when I got my duvet home, she had written my name on it in permanent marker!! I will feel like I'm on a sleepover every time I change the bed now! haha

Noticed Wedding dresses , Ball Gowns , Wedding Suits all hanging aroun waiting for collection so although i have only had coats dry cleaned it seems to everything they will do , even curtains and duvets dont know what the price of these larger items would cost but my coats were half the price it cost me at Johnsons and that was even using there loyalty card at jOHNSTONS. I got married in March 2015 and I left it a good 9 months before even thinking about getting my dress cleaned. My dress was absolutely filthy and had so many layers and detail too it, I was worried the stains wouldn't come out. Amir was very friendly and advised me that some of the stains may be difficult to remove. I was confident he knew what he was talking about and he took the time to go through the cleaning process with me. He never once pushed any prices/extra things onto me. Within a week or so I got a call to say my dress was ready to collect at anytime. Amir again took the time to show me my dress, it looked as good as new. All stains had been removed and I was amazed by the great care he'd taken. I would highly recommend Village Dry Cleaners, they took great care in looking after and cleaning my dress, talking me through the process. An old friend of mine's parents used to bring in the families ironing every week because they had lots of money and couldn't be arsed doing it. They offer very competitive rates on all aspects of dry cleaning and ironing. With shirt ironing from as little as one pound a shirt. Dry cleaning rates start at three pound fifty for a suit jacket, up to seven pound for a two piece suit! Excellent rates and not beaten by any local competitors. The shop is very friendly and is ran by a lovely couple called Geoff and Yvonne, an honest hard working pair that are constantly happy and chatty whenever you go in.
