Amazing staff! We had the hot chocolate, and pomegranate tea - SO GOOD!! The price is perfect!

Very cute place, right on trend, love the big comfy seats, cute bathroom, even love the scent of the hand soap! Coffee was tasty, employees were young and friendly, loved that there were about 8 sugar free options including s'mores! Took a star off for their being no prices on the menu and for two lattes which cost $16. Are we in California or Perham? I'm assuming there was an extra charge for each shot of sugar free syrup and an up charge for oat milk, but again, I don't even know the base price. Really disappointed. Used to go to the Nest all the time when they opened. They changed the size of the large hot drinks which now taste more watered down and just changed the price of said drink and charging $8.92 for it! It is a latte with 1/2 the flavoring. Sad to see the quality go down and price go up. read more

The nest has mediocre to bad coffee. Glorified watered down specialty coffee is more precise. In Minnesota can compare independent coffee places with Caribou Coffee and the Nest is not worth the prices. The service has been very good and courteous. But others have good service. I would not recommend the Nest for their Coffee. read more

Nice place but it changed. They don't sell kitchen stuff anymore. It got a bunch of expensive tourists stuff. Also I ordered 2 larger blended almond joy coffees with almond milk and it cost $23.48 and I tipped a dollar so $24.48. So if you'd like a $12 blended coffee in Perham MN it's the place for you. I will the old kitchen store actually bought a lot of stuff there. Not anymore. Good luck read more

Greed. NEST charges you a fee when you use a credit card to purchase merchandise. So I only pay cash. NEST routinely charges more for items that are available many other places. Example: Geometry Kitchen towel. Sells for $18 . Except at NEST: $19. So I do not purchase such items at NEST. This week was the straw that broke the camel's back. I purchased an item using cash and when I got home I'd been charged an additional 3%. I called the store and the person who answered could not explain it to me (she said it was a newly implemented charge and muttered something about being for incidentals - like bags!) but she wasn't sure. So she took my name and number and said a manager would call and explain it to me. That was Tuesday - no one ever called. I'm done. Now even when you pay cash they want another 3%. Pure greed. They charge more than other stores but that's not enough - they still want an additional 3% to increase their take! Where will this end? I'm through with NEST nickle and diming me. I will happily give my business to stores that keep business above board. Greed. read more

I recently discovered Nest when we came to Perham for a softball tournament! It made me sad I don't live in Perham right next to it! Their coffee is so good! The Baristas are always so nice! I had a chef salad from there and it was so fresh and the drive through girl was so helpful in helping me decide! Highly recommend place! I make it a point to stop there when I'm road tripping! read more

Great customer service from Terry on a recent visit. I went in to browse and left with several items I'm excited to try! The vinegar selection is nice and they had the flavor I was hoping for that has recently appeared in several Asian recipes were planning to make - can't wait. Terrible experience. Waited upwards of twenty minutes for two drinks and a scone. Staff wasn't knowledgeable about their own products and couldn't answer a simple question about one of their food products and didn't bother offering to ask someone. Originally ordered a scone and a panini grilled cheese, but was told that they couldn't do the panini grilled cheese. They then offered to do the grilled cheese on a bagel, which I declined and told them not to worry about the grilled cheese. They refunded me for the grilled cheese- as they had me pay before even making sure that they could make the items on their own menu. They brought our drinks out and it took an additional 5 minutes to get the scone. However when I finally opened the bag of food, I got a panini grilled cheese and no scone. I haven't been to the other stores that are all similarly branded but I doubt that I'll bother with them. read more

Cute store in Perham, MN with just about any kitchen tool or gadget that you can think of. Plenty of great gift ideas, and practical items too... I was here with a group of women on a mystery tour with GirlTime Getaways. We stopped in for some shopping and coffee at the attached coffee shop. I enjoyed the visit and definitely recommend. read more

First the good. It's a cute little place with potential. The bad. Horrible service on the coffee side. Four employees all bumping into each other, not communicating with either themselves or the customers. One of the girls actually started yelling at her coworkers. I am in from out of town. I have been coming to this area every year of my life since I was six weeks old. I'm 36 now. I was so exited to see a hip looking coffee shop and had mediocre expectations. 1.) I bought a bag of coffee, and asked for it to be ground. The coffee didn't have a price on it, it ended up being $13.99. Which I am more than willing to pay for coffee. Back in Portland, I sometime pay $20 for a good bag of beans. Typically, $13 is a normal price for beans roasted in house and rested for three days prior to sale. The beans I purchased were two weeks old. Not my favorite, but hey I'm in Perham, and the beans are from Detroit Lakes. 2.) I purchased a small americano to drink. It was served way too hot. To the point of almost boiling. Also, it wasn't an americano. An americano is a 3 oz pour of espresso to an equal amount hot water. What I got was one pour of espresso poured into a small to go mug and then the entire mug was filled to the top with hot water. Come on! It's an easy drink to make. 3.) Remember those beans I asked to be ground? I had to wait 10 minutes for them to grind them. When I walked in there was only one other customer, and while I was waiting for my beans there were only three more. 4.) As I was waiting for my bean I was looking at the other coffees. Most of the beans they had were roasted over a month ago!!! It's you are going to charge a fresh roasting price than your beans better be fresh. Not past their prime. 5.) The coffee I bought taste awful! I made it in my Chemex, and it still couldn't be saved. The beans were thrown away! If you want a cup of coffee for a better price, and with an equal quality McDonalds is right across the street. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a coffee as we were leaving town for a long drive home. It has a really nice small town feel with a small shop attached to it. They had a coffee flavor of the day that was delicious! (Cannot remember what it was called though) The one star deduction comes from the staff member that greeted us and acted like she was going to take our order, but them got side-tracked with another task and it was kind of rude. The rest of the staff was very friendly though! We will definitely be back next time we are in town. read more

Cute little find in the middle of BFE. Love the combo of coffee shop and kitchen gadget store. Lots of cool find from infused oils and vinegars to lots of unique coffee drink combos and classics like chai tea. I did not try them but wished I had -- they had sandwiches that looked really good. I did try to purchase some infused vinegars but staff didn't know how to manage multiple customers at the same time hence the 4 stars vs 5. read more

Love this place! Great coffee was served up quickly, correctly, and with a smile. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated. I do not understand the 1 star negative review. Being of similar background- husband grew up coming here for 35+ years and we lived in Seattle (up until a few months ago). Really nice location, great kitchen gadget assortment. But mediocre espresso drinks, and unspecial sandwiches served on a white plate with nothing but a napkin. No pickle, no chips, no presentation, no taste. Made me wish I had gone to McDonalds. Great coffee. Wonderful staff. Unimaginative and poor quality food. Example: Grilled cheese sandwich with Sun Dried Tomatoes turns out to be a bagel with slice of cheese and red bits from nearby market. Microwaved. Don't expect delicious grilled artisan bread with gourmet cheese and REAL Sun Dried Tomatoes. No attempt at simple good food to match decor and ambience. The coffee shop/kitchen shop looks luxurious, but food on par with refrigerated sandwiches at convenience store. read more
