We were killing some time before our excursion and saw L'Orizzonte. What drew me in was their popsicles and sorbet; they had every imaginable flavor but what stood out to me was their watermelon flavored sorbet! Of course I had to try it and it was refreshing and delicious.
But the winner for me was their Kinder chocolate gelato. Amongst the sea of dark chocolate, chocolate, bacio, stracietella, mint, pistachio etc the Kinder gelato stood out and and i had to try it.
For those of you who grew up with Kinder chocolate and have a soft spot for it, it was swirled in with vanilla and was making me sentimental....
The gelato was creamy, dense and oh so good. If wasn't too sweet which was perfect for me.
