I have tried making the meal so many times from recipes I have found off the Internet, but I cannot recreate divinity or perfection. That's the price I pay for being an American. Alas, the food was mediocre ate best. Our server Mattea, was the best thing about Ristorante Isola di Caprera. He reminded me of old school waiters at a deli in NYC. Mattea was quick, witty and efficient. Too bad the food was less than satisfying.
