This glorious statue of the Roman Sea God Neptune (similar to Poseidon, who fulfilled a similar role in Greek mythology) is located in a massively pedestrian zone, close to the City Center. And it totally makes sense having this statue symbolize Bristol, which is a sea-faring city.
I walked by a couple of times on a Saturday and each time, there was a musician set up by the base of the statue, playing a mix of ska and punk music.
I reckon when wondering Bristol City, you'll end up passing this statue quite a few times because of its central location, so definitely easy to come and check the statue out.
