We were not prepared with a jack or the impact driver needed to get the wheel off, so we started calling businesses to see if they could help us. The gentleman who changed our tire was super nice and explained everything. Their prices were reasonable as well. Thank you for helping us!

It was supposed to be an average night out with the Mrs. but life got in the way and I needed a tow…read more("wrecker"). My company truck had stalled in front of the Ollie's on Westport Road and I wasn't sure who to call. I called our company equipment representative and he gave me some options of local towing companies that we have used in the past. But after going through the list he said Suburban was the most professional and best he's dealt with in the past. I called Suburban and gave them my location, make and model and waited....... and waited..... To be fair, it was a Saturday evening and I didn't expect someone to show up within 20 minutes. My father drove a tow for years so I know what to expect when a tow is needed on a weekend evening. I ended up waiting quite a while but my night was not boring. I ended up visiting the nearby Ollie's and China Cafe and the evening was somewhat eventful. When the tow truck showed up the drive was very nice and I told him I wasn't sure which dealership to drop off my truck. Our company typically uses one dealership but their lot was closed at this hour (10 PM). The driver was very helpful and recommended a different dealer. One that has a lot open at this hour and they have done good work in the past. We decided to go to the dealership he recommended, although it was out of my way, I was determined to have my truck fixed since I just got it back from another dealership after having the same issue "resolved". The driver was nice enough to give me a ride to the dealership so I could leave instructions with the truck. The driver was very nice and we had a good conversation on the way to the dealership. The cab was clean and well kept. A noteworthy observation for those that ever need to hitch a ride with a tow truck. Although my company ended up paying for the tow this service gave me an opportunity to experience their service if I ever needed one for a personal vehicle. After all.... isn't that what networking is about? If the work they do for my company is great and they offer it to the public, I'll use them for my personal needs. Suburban Towing was very accommodating, professional and I will definitely keep them in mind if I ever need a tow again. Oh, and by the way, their recommendation on a dealership was a great one. Not only did I receive great service from Suburban but their recommendation paid off as well.

In fairness Colleen was on vacation when this was going on- I am quite sure she would have handled it differently. Bear with me, because this is going to be quite a review…read more I had been going to Probilt for a few years, and had gotten good work done. I was happy I had found a decent auto repair shop. Then...it all came crashing down. I went in for a routine oil change over a year ago, and when I picked it up, they charged me and I paid and I figured that was that. The mechanic, (whom I'd not seen there before,) brought it out and asked me "Did they talk to you about the timing belt?" "No." I said. He then proceeded to tell me how the timing belt had "slipped a tooth already", and that it "can lead to engine damage." I said I'd look into it but he said it would be okay to drive. When I got in my car and started driving (it's a 5-speed 2012 Ford Fiesta,) I IMMEDIATELY heard grinding and there was little to no acceleration. Remember: it was FINE when I took it in, and I had just driven a long distance trip with no problems. I brought it in for a routine oil change. I stopped off and called them back and took it back in. The woman at the front desk remembered that she hadn't remembered to tell me about a potential issue. I dropped it off again and they continued to look at it. They called back a few DAYS later and told me that it had slipped and they don't fix that. I was livid. They said they weren't covering anything financially and that it was something they couldn't help with. These are people I had gotten used to seeing and had been on friendly terms with for at least a couple years. I went to get it towed back to my home. When I got there and spoke with the tow truck guy, he said he had been towing a lot from Probilt lately and they had apparently been under new ownership. That made perfect sense. The people on the phones seemed completely different than they had been and the new mechanic seemed more than subpar. It felt as if they were just churning through cars and didn't care about anything but the payments anymore. I will NEVER go back there, and I warn anyone else against this place. Hopefully, it shuts down soon, if it hasn't already. I notice most of the good reviews are from years and years ago.
