Zero stars in reality. It seems this doctor was somehow able to have my review deleted but I will post as many times as I need to in order to warn, most especially, parents with children and young adults. This man withheld information about a sudden death syndrome (SUDEP) from my 19-year-old daughter when she develope, for reasons never discovered, generalized tonic clonic nocturnal seizures which place patients at high risk for SUDEP. If he had answered the vital questions she asked of him on her first appointment and educated her about SUDEP, she might have lived. Instead, she died 7-1/2 years later because we had NO idea she could die like an infant from SIDS. He actually had his office manager call me to say my daughter's death "was her own fault." She was skipping doses to play soccer, never having any idea she could die from doing this. He should not have a medical license. I often wonder how many other young persons (the average age of SUDEP victims is 26) have died under his care. I have to emphasize that for many years now, the vast majority (~90-95%) of neurologists routinely omit this life and death education. We could have eliminated ALL of her risk factors with the exception of her seizures AND protected her with a monitor, seizure alert dog or roommate. However, a total of 8 neurologists gifted her with a casket 11 days after her 27th birthda. She had never been happier at the time but died alone and isolated in her downstairs apartment where she should never have been, with 3 housemates two floors above her where they could never have heard her in distress the night she died Like an unwanted and uncared for pet. read more
