Every time I come in here, I learn a little bit about small repair hacks for old homes. It's a small local business with all the messiness that entails, but keep in mind when you're going into a store like this you're supporting the local community. Their gun selection is... Mediocre at best, but the ammo selection is the best in town. I always swing by to grab reactive targets before the wife and I go shooting. It's just a small town hardware store, and it is a little expensive, but the screw is way less than the local town Ace Hardware (don't get me wrong, they also have things they do best. But the other Ace is very expensive).

The lady in the store did her magic and made up a new can for us, this was back in June this year, we just opened this can and used it this month October, because of all the rain we have had this was first chance to use it. What a great match, a person would think it came from the same can of stain that has been on the wood at least 2 years. Job well done

Had paint issues. Not sure if painter or paint. Painter blamed the paint and Sherwin Williams…read moreblamed the painter. What else is new! I think it's both. Sherwin Williams tried to work with us and did show good service at the time, so we thought - but in the end blamed the painter and we got nowhere. We had never used Sherwin Williams before, as we are big Behr painters but the painter swore it's the best and compares great. Our walls look like crap and we tried to fight the good fight but lost. We tried fixing the walls with the left over paint and it's horrible. I believe our painter got bad paint or is truly a horrible painter. But, the painter is very busy and has many jobs in the area - just not sure what to think. But, due to this and Sherwin Williams not even trying to prove they have awesome paint and working with us I will forever bash Sherwin Williams and their HORRIBLE paint. It sucks! They charge outrageous money for crappy paint. Now we have to paint ALL our walls again. Very costly and time consuming! STAY AWAY.

I went there to buy some plumbing products, I couldn't find something, so I asked a young man for…read morehelp, he was honest, he told me that he didn't know where anything was, so we asked a more experienced employee where these things were, this employee was in a gated off aisle and was quite a distance away and he wouldn't come closer so we had to shout back and forth, he ended up not being very helpful and was very condescending. Not a great experience with Home Depot Iron Mountain staff. I'll go somewhere else next time.

But, trying to find them is next to impossible. The best service I've gotten is from the returns / ship to store pickup. They are nice, helpful, and ready to help. The only reason I go here is because Menards is an hour and a half away, one way.
