They have lots of quality basics made from 100% Egyptian cotton. Their Ossington location is considered their Toronto flagship store, however, they also have a location in Leslieville as well as Yorkdale. I've been to KOTN along Ossington several times. I usually take advantage of their sales that happen once or twice a year as their regular priced items are more pricy. However, I do occasionally go for their basics which are of high quality. The store layout is spacious. Some clothes can easily be unisex. Staff are always friendly, professional, and helpful. If you want to try on clothes, they will also set aside the clothes for you in the changeroom area so that you can continue to browse. There is also a sofa in the changeroom area if you are waiting for your friends to try on clothes as well. If you do end up buying clothes they give you a nice tote bag for your purchased clothes. Overall, a nice spacious clothing store selling sustainable and ethical high-quality clothing. The staff are great and friendly as well. Definitely will return from time to time to check out their clothing!

Tiger of Sweden fits Ossington nicely as the location and brand both lean towards the young, urban, and trendy. You do need to bring your gold card here though... it does have really nice textures and quality but you pay for it. Right now in December, they have some really great sales. Stepping in the large serene and modern space, I noticed more than half the rack had 30 to 40% off. I was impressed as it wasn't just a token rack in the back on sale. The clean lines and fit of the clothes leans torwards the European slim build and I personally like that. Tiger of Sweden did originally start in menswear but their woman's wear is really nice as well. Think easy pieces that transition from Bay St office to evening in a nice upscale restaurant. The service here is friendly and attentive ... though they do know that it is annoying to hover. They don't do that thankfully. They offer insights on sizing as it is in European sizing. It's not the usual American brand sizing. It was easy to try items on and even though I tried on a few coats among the store, I never once felt the heavy pressure of a sales tactic. Overall, really nice clean modern aesthetic that will last beyond a season in terms of quality & style.

I don't have anything to match a lot of the clothes here, but it always for some reason draws me in when I am at Yorkville. The real estate is no more than the size of a large kitchen, it feels rather closed off from the outside. Awfully quiet for a store selling gear to people who regularly spike their hair. The sales guy sometimes greets me when I come in, sometimes he ignore me. I'd rather he'd ignore me because I have never bought anything in this store. I did come here once and saw white tie which debated very hard over. Normally I would never wear a white tie because that is just totally VDV Tck, but this tie was just the right width, and it had the silhouette/imprint of a face of a blonde woman which looked to be having a very good time....it was VERY America Psycho..I don't know why I didn't end up buying it. If it were red in colour I would have snatched it up in a heart beat. Things here are pretty expensive, but the merchandise seems to be on the edge, and geared towards mid-aged Men trying to re-live their youth. Oh btw, this place only sells Menswear. So I made my way to the Eaton Center, glanced at a couple storefronts, and settled on Johnston & Murphy. J&M is an American footwear and clothing company. Think dress shoes, dress shirts, ladies shoes, shirts, and accessories. This location isn't terribly large, but they do have a modest selection, (especially of shoes), that gave me some variety in my search. When I walked into the store, the salesman approached me noticing that I was attempting to match my suit jacket to appropriate shoes. We proceeded to walk through a number of different options and chose a number to try. J&M service has the nice touch of having their salespeople hands-on fit you with the shoes when trying them on. Though to be honest, even though I appreciated this, I eventually asked to just try them on myself. Too much good treatment and my bougie meter would explode. I quite like the style of their shoes in general, and even better, most of them are surprisingly comfortable. At the time, they had a sale going on, which made their shoes even more accessible, but even without the sale, I must say that J&M's value to price point ratio is pretty high. Take walk to most of the surrounding stores and you'll be hard pressed to find shoes of the same style & quality at the same price. If my job necessitated more business casual or formal wear, I would certainly make a couple more purchases at J&M. Come for the clothing, appreciate the service, take advantage of the price.
