Something told me I should just leave so I did. I checked Yelp looking for hair salons but more important than the reviews were the cuts. At the chain location, I would constantly be talked out of going shorter or getting layers because it just would not look good. So I'd end up with a basic trim. I really wanted a style so as I am checking and comparing pricing, Hair Experts Plus comes up. Yelp reviews say their response time is good so I decide to ask about pricing for a hair cut. I honestly almost just decided to try JCPenny's again when I noticed the response to my email. There was response back and forth until I got to a place where I was too busy to respond. They gave me price that included blow dry and 3 times I could pick for next day appointment. I emailed back quite late giving the time that would work and got a response back in the morning that I was booked. Very easy and quick. The outside may not look like much but as with people the inside is what counts. I was greeted by all three stylists when I arrived. Everyone was very friendly. The place is quaint, clean, had comfortable seats, and nice decor. I met my stylist Chloe and she was incredible. What a sweetheart! She was super comfortable to talk to and I probably could have stayed and talked to her for days. She was very personable and friendly. I love that she asked me what temperature I liked my water. If I get a shampoo or rinse, most of the time I get asked if the water temperature is okay but she asked before she started. That small difference in wording really made a difference to me. She asked me how I wanted my hair cut and proceeded to cut it exactly how I wanted. Not how she wanted-although I definitely gave her creative permission in where to start my layers in the back and asked for her expertise on length. My hair came out exactly how I visioned it. I can't tell you how long it's been that I have walked out of a salon genuinely happy and not second guessing what I just did. Chloe blow dried my hair to perfection and I felt amazing. My haircut was amazing. I have to say also that I love that they were playing worship music. They told me they all go to the same church. They also were supporting local businesses and had Meal Works LV's card who happens to be great for meal prep and is a Christian company also. Honestly this just made me love this salon even more. After 14 years in Las Vegas, I have finally found my all time favorite.

My hair was taking care of like the crown that it is and none of the stylist were rough at all. Makenna did the wash and blow dry and she was so gental & caring with my hair I took a nap at the bowl. I wish I could remember the products that were used because none of them irritatied my scalp after (sensitive scalp girlie understand) Eric - did the wig instal and braided my hair down! Now I have short length due to always cutting my hair etc, and brought extra braiding hair just in case, however it was not needed because Eric gripped my little hair and did a beautiful braid down that had me feeling like Lil bow wow and then went over the process of how to do a wig install. My hair came out so beautiful & unique to me! The salon is very clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. I love the vibe with the nice music playing in the background. The staff, I mean the entire staff, was so welcoming, warm, and professional. Whenever I visit Las Vegas, this will be my new go to, hair spot to get my hair serviced. Again, kudos to Makenna. I came in asking for the SAME exact color, just a touch-up, and Veronica completely ruined my hair. The color is way darker and NOTHING like what I asked for. It looks nothing like my previous result. Instead of fixing it, she had the nerve to tell me to "just wash it every day" and that it would fade. That is not a solution -- that's an excuse. You don't charge someone $155 to send them home hoping their hair fixes itself. What's worse is her attitude. She was dismissive, didn't care, and brushed me off like I wasn't even a paying client. No accountability, no attempt to make it right just took my money and moved on. Now I'm stuck with hair I hate after spending hundreds of dollars. This is not a cheap mistake, and it's not something you can just ignore. I've been so upset I've literally been in tears over this. If you value your hair, DO NOT book with Veronica.
