Berk Bal?k is a little restaurant at the end. It's filled with locals, always a good sign, even when the restaurant next door is empty. It's got some of the best seafood I've ever had. Very friendly service: they had a good-natured laugh with us about our attempts at Turkish, but it endeared them enough that we got greeted with an all-staff cheer and special service the next night. The food is mostly reasonably priced but certainly all delicious. Largely seafood - go pick your fish from the display - but a few other options as well. The calamari and cuttlefish were both great. We ate there both nights we were in Bodrum. There are some seats indoors upstairs, but it's best to sit outside where an enclosed area holds a dozen or so tables. You see the Bodrum nightlife strolling by, but it's not as busy or chaotic as it is closer to the centre of town.

The restaurant was quiet at 3pm on a Wednesday but it is beautiful and spacious. Food was surprisingly delicious. We had mezze, salad, bread, etc. and it was all really tasty. The bill was a bit confusing. I think we were charged for more than what we ordered, and I see that others have had this issue too. But we decided not to stress about it and paid it. The total wasn't too bad in any case. Overall we'd return if lucky enough to be in Bodrum again!

This restaurant's speciality is fish but half of the courses haven't a price written on the menu, we asked for the price before setting on table, and the owner said clearly that it depends on the fish arrival, that today it was 1000₺ / Kg, this is why no price is written. We had our lunch, the owner was pushing for consuming more and more, bringing bread and water bottles we didn't ask for. End of meal, the bill comes and TADA! The price of the fish was now 3000₺ / Kg! of course, we contested the price. The owner said that he never said 1000₺, that the bill was generated automatically and now we have to pay. He then brought a small placard with 3000₺ written on it, TADA! second magic trick, why this placard was hided all along? And why these prices are different from the ones that are announced at the beginning? This restaurant's business is based on scaming tourists, making them pay 3 times the price. They don't care of your negative experience, chances are that you won't come back to this city anyway. Most of the 5stars reviews are bots. And if you have children, please, bring them here. There are so many smokers, that they can easily learn as well.

Full of lovely shops, restaurants and plenty of areas for photo opportunities. There are several museums within walking distance. The Grand Bazaar is also located in Kuşadasi. It is one of Turkey's largest markets, offering a wide range of goods from souvenirs to leather and carpets. The restaurants line up the streets and there are several excellent choices. Ice cream is big here and for some reason it doesn't melt as fast as in the US. The ice cream is kept in huge metal tins and comes out absolutely creamy and delicous! We loved having ours. One of the best treats ever are the Turkish Delights!! I bought a nice big box of fresh made Turkish Delights to bring back home to the US. They were hand sliced in front of us and vacuum sealed for travel. We also bought some and ate them there. These instantly became a new favorite! Pigeon Island is beautiful as well. It's a small island connected to the mainland by a causeway, featuring an ancient fort with lovely gardens and a museum. I enjoyed walking around taking pictures and learning about the rich history and culture in Turkey. Kuşadasi is worth a trip. The combination of it's kind, warm people, beautiful traditions, and natural beauty make you fall in love with it. I truly enjoyed my time in Türkiye! Kuşadasi is a dream. Definitely will return. They have great mezes (appetizers) on seafood, and fresh fish of course. The prices are over the average compared to other restaurants in the same area, but always lower compared to big cities like Istanbul. This place was far beyond my expectations in terms of the quality of food, and the setting. The mezes were fresh and delicious - the grilled octopus was amazing, and the fish we picked out was equally fresh. This restaurant was a pleasant change from some of the touristy spots prevalent along the coast in the area.
