They put it back to working condition overnight. Some months later they repaired the screen on my iPad Mini. This price was not so great or the service so speedy, since the great bulk of the cost is the screen not the labor, and it had to be trucked in from Mex City. I think there is a heavy tax on such imports here in MX. The English spoken here is much better than my Spanish and generally gets by. If necessary you can use Google Translate in the shop.
