Dr. Marty took a quick glance and just prescribed me steroids. Guess what went to another doctor who did the same thing and it made it worse. Tried to explain that to her as she just nodded her head and saying "I understand". Oh and the front desk staff was chatting with each other. It had something to do with how one of them injured their arm and why they were wearing a cast. Oh and to top it off, I received a bill via email and messages a month later, claiming it's overdue. I checked the website and my past messages never received any prior notification about the payment until after a month. I don't blame the staff or the dermatologist directly for this--it just gives me insight into how the business owner runs this place. I'm now going to drive 40 minutes out of my way to see a dermatologist who actually seems to value my time. What's funny is that I was recommended to this place by two of my friends. They also recommended me Dr.Mattay. She may have helped them but my issue has not been resolved. Just sharing my experience for anyone curious

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like this needs to be said. The receptionist was, without…read morequestion, the most unfriendly and unwelcoming customer-facing person I've ever encountered. From the moment I walked in, their tone was cold, dismissive, and at times outright rude. Simple questions were met with visible annoyance, and there was little to no effort to be helpful or even polite. It made an already stressful situation feel even more uncomfortable. That said, once I got past the front desk, my experience completely changed. The PA and the technician in the back were absolutely wonderful--kind, friendly, and professional. They took the time to listen, made me feel at ease, and provided great care. It's unfortunate that the first point of contact left such a negative impression, because the clinical staff truly deserve recognition for the positive experience they provide. I hope management takes a closer look at the front desk experience, because it doesn't reflect the level of care happening behind the scenes.

I'm really frustrated with this establishment. I don't generally leave reviews if I have not…read morereceived a service. However, I made an appointment at Sthree Skin Care for a hydra facial. I wrote on the electronic form they sent a day before my appointment that I was pregnant. Disclaimer, that if you speak with your OB GYN and even most spas, they are willing to give hydrafacials to pregnant women because it is not harmful to the baby. Just Google it if you don't believe me. However, it is at the discretion of the salon as to whether they will do the facial or not. For this particular salon, the owner did not tell me she had an issue with performing the facial until I arrived! And as I'm about to walk into the room, she says "I will do another facial on you but not the hydra facial because you are pregnant." Listen, if you don't want to perform the facial because of liability or whatever your reasons are that makes sense, but please be professional and call me ahead of time. Don't try to give me a different facial I don't want and make me drive 20 minutes in the middle of a week day to then deliver the news so you can at least get some money out of me. I thought that was unprofessional. Especially since I had filled out an electronic form stating I was pregnant the day before coming in. The women working there seemed really nice and the establishment was clean but you can't waste customers time like this. It is a colossal disappointment and very unprofessional.

I thought my consultation would be at least 30 minutes but I left my appointment in under 20 minutes. The dermatologist recommended two solutions to solving my skin concerns, both of which are blocked behind a paywall (ie. pills or a topical cream). When I asked about other solutions that were a bit more budget friendly or that didn't need a prescription I was met with the kind of attitude along the lines of "It's either these two options or not. Nothing else will work as effectively." Even if that's the case I felt like I wasn't being listened to and all my other comments or questions were immediately shut down because the dermatologist was adamant about his words over mine. Needless to say, I feel like the appointment was a waste of time after being told information that could've been concluded from a Google search. Bottom line, if you want to save your time and money while actually being listened to, I'd suggested looking elsewhere.
