We were at his office every week with something new. He was always so great with our son and patient with us, nervous new parents. He never discounted my concerns or made me feel bad for all the questions, frequent visits, etc. He is patient, genuinely caring, observant, and incredibly intelligent. He is the type of Doctor who looks for developmental concerns by interacting and carefully observing his patients rather than just going off a survey. We recently moved half an hour away from his office but still take our son to see him for his yearly check ups. When we were referred to a specialist for a specific issue, a few days after our specialist appointment, he contacted me to follow up on the report he received from them and to make sure we were lined up with the appropriate subsequent appointments as needed. The office also has an online portal where I receive a response under 24 hours depending on when I send a message. Plenty of parking in their lot. There is a fish tank, toys and books. They have stickers and candy at the front. But if you also want to go the healthy route, they even offered my daughter an apple that was already washed and ready to go :) I do have to note, we started going to PWG earlier in 2016. My daughter was turning 3 at the time. If your child has a previous pediatrician, they will require those records from them prior to making your first appointment. At least, that's what the requirement was in mid 2016. That way the doctors have a complete history for your kiddo in their system going forward. Just something to consider. Thanks PWG!

I called early in the morning to encounter a rude nurse. On top of the medical expertise, isn't this a service business? You can't be curt and rude to the clients - especially those concerned about their infants/toddlers well being. This nurse needs to go work at DMV to match her personality. Then I called the office to be answered by Gina - the rude front desk receptionist who pretends to be a doctor. I said my daughter has 100.3 fever and she replied with - "She needs to have a 100.4 fever in order to come in" LOL - you can't make this stuff up. My son was diagnosed, referred to him, and Dr Nayfack has been a warm, and welcome voice, both with prescribing meds and advice, that has helped my son succeed in countering his behaviors. I'll not undersell it either. My child can be difficult. He's got autism, and some days we win, some days autism wins. But if you're looking for an honest doctor, that can help you figure out what's correct for your child, give you good advice and referrals and actually care about your child's health, sanity and their place in the world, then Dr Nayfack is the best choice in the valley.
