As parents, I am most grateful for : Solbe's nutrition system, the best in the US. Three meals a day, chefs prepare fresh, nutritious, and varied menus, allowing our young children to experience a wide variety of foods and get the most nutrition. I've always heard great things, so I jumped at the chance to send my son when she had an opening. They do crafts, sensory play, puzzles, instruments, dress up, chalkboard, storybooks, felt boards, playdoh, sand table, painting, shaving cream play, tower building, songs, and on and on. There's a new theme every month (this month: polar animals). Every day when I pick up my son I hear about all the fun they had. They do have circle time and talk about letters and numbers, always in a playful and imaginative environment, with mixed ages from 2-4. The other great thing about Morning Playtime is plenty of outdoor play every day, even in snow, which is so wonderful for kids. I love the fun my son has there- and I do think it is education- play is how kids learn at this age. I first met Elizabeth McKenna when she taught a children's art class at Mother Brook Arts Center. I saw how much she truly enjoys spending time children and developing a rapport with them. She is engaging and hands-on.
