However the new Swansea Central library compensates for losing it's listed building by a great expansion, amazing situation in County Hall(I'm now jealous of people working with that view!!) overlooking the sweep of Swansea Bay and the opportunity of books, cds, dvds in a far more comfy set up. Now the danger is in too much distraction when doing some study at the library, the view and opportunity of also having lunch and tea in the cafe next door!

Excellent for anyone wanting somewhere quiet to get on with some work. Excellent views over the bay. The new bendy-bus service provides regular buses to the library from anywhere in Swansea city centre.

They also have a small amount of computers here which you can book time on to go online - it's free. The only downside is parking nearby, it's on a busy main road and parking bays outside are nearly always full.
