New York State Lottery

New York State Lottery

Center City

This may sound odd reviewing the New York State lottery but…read more - there is no more fun and excitement in either the scratch-off or draw tickets. -no one wins anything more than the face value of the ticket. - the scratch-off tickets are so boring in concept and design. - the draw ticket numbers are always the exact opposite numbers of yours, regardless of quick pick or self chosen numbers. -and they raised the price of the Mega Millions ticket from $2 to $5 per play while boasting that the "better odd of winning" went from 1 in 24 to now 1 in 23, insane odds.

Unfortunately it's my own fault. I wish I was not a compulsive gambler. But I would like to say it…read moreis been years since I've seen any wins on my side. Before covid I would be able to cash in $600 on a scratch off have to spending $6,000. For the past 2 years I am lucky to get back anything at all. Spend about $100 roughly a day if not more on some days and not win anything at all. And some lucky days have to spending $100 or more I win $10 back on a $10 ticket. My stupidity because I swore that I would give up spending any more money on New York State Lottery at the beginning of this year but here we are into February and it's still got me hooked thinking that maybe one day I will get lucky. Also Daily for a lifetime I have been playing Win 4 $20 a day so you do the math and since the last time any of my five numbers combo that means box has come out and over 14 months. I guess I should keep my money and consider myself a winner. There is no other way. I am the stupid one if you do the math $100 a day times 365 days I am the dumbest person in the world. New York State Lottery along with Suffolk County OTB and the casinos that they have are a complete ripoff, and I mentioned Suffolk County OTB only because they own now Jake's 58. Ever since they took over nobody ever wins so to speak. I truly hope I have the willpower to stop playing Lottery every day or at all and if that does occur New York State Lottery will be losing at least from me personally over $30,000 a year.

Frontier Corporation

This business was great until I tried to cancel. Truly. I didn't want to leave. Service was…read morereliable and excellent. But we're paying over $20k a year for daycare. My electric bill increased significantly. We're cutting costs any way we can: canceling streaming services (we only had two); canceling news subscriptions, and so on. Frontier raised their prices to $85 a month. Greenlight was only $55, or $360 a year. Even with installation and a new router we'd save over $100 in the first year. So we switched. I was on the phone with Frontier for over fifteen minutes while on break. They tried to give me promotional offers ($30 a month for three years) but I already paid install fee, bought a new router that I can't return, etc. Frontier wouldn't take no for an answer, and I had to hang up. Sadly, someone high up, probably making an eight digit income and sporting a two digit IQ, never had the realization that if they kept prices competitive, struggling families wouldn't seek alternatives. Here's a free clue for them: everyone is struggling now. Rents, groceries, daycares, and utilities have increased by double digits over the past few years. Things are bad enough I considered going back to Spectrum. I may be forced to take up Frontier's offer of $30 a month though. At the very least I have to consider it, even though I'm disgusted with how this went down.

Its one of the worst co. you can ever deal with. They will keep you waiting for hours. Now I know…read morewhy they had to declare bankruptcy. STAY AWAY!!!
