I accepted a job posting from this company years ago in Paso Robles. Worked for 6 weeks or so…read morewithout incident. Always on time to the best of my recollection, did a good job. One day at work, I get a call from one of the staffing coordinators. They wanted to know why I hadn't disclosed a past felony conviction on my application. I told them, "On that section of the application I *specifically* wrote, 'Will discuss upon request during interview'. Your failure to ask me about it did not constitute a refusal to disclose on my end". They go on to say that since I had a conviction I didn't disclose to them I was being terminated. I said "Are you serious?! I was willing to discuss it and indicated so on the application. YOU did not ASK about it. You're terminating me because you dropped the ball? In what world does that make any sense?" They completely ignore that and tell me I need to leave the job site. I didn't want to go back to being unemployed only 6 weeks, so I wasn't going down without a fight. I told them, "Why don't you ask the client how I'm doing? Why don't you ask them if they want to keep me? I guarantee you they'll tell you I'm doing a good job". Nope, they didn't care about that. I asked, "Can I at least finish out the day"? No, they wanted me to clock out and leave as soon as I was finished with them on the phone. Fucking rat bastards.
