Having been a member for over 33 years I have seen plenty of good and bad. But what they are now is beyond bad. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you are looking for a new credit union. The lines at their branches are often so long that people give up and walk out before being helped. Their on-line bill paying app has been upgraded to a unreliable mess. Often bills don't get paid. When you call up and ask why the staff tells you that you didn't pay the bill. I've resorted to taking screen shots of it being confirmed. When I try to send them the image they tell me that they can't receive the image to avoid the truth. When you call up half the time you get an answering service who can't really do much. When you ask to have someone call you back who can rarely do you actually get a call. With less than 2 years to go on my mortgage I'll stick it out until then. But once that's paid I'm gone and never looking back. I have yet to find any other people who are members who don't feel the same as me.

The manager has gone out of her way to help me transfer ownership on the account, answer questions, keep in touch on paperwork or issues. I think that is pretty cool since our group's petty cash adds only to a few bucks a month. No outrageous fees either! I dig the NSB pig flying logo too. Props to Northfield Savings Bank for being still a Vermont based bank & reminding what banks use to be like.

M and T had 4 of the 5 hits in dispute. They denied the first three saying it was not fraud. So I had to eat amount. The one that came threw on paypal they reversed saying it was fraud. Hello? They were all identical..................no amount of pleading to see the same issues with different outcomes..... worked for them. I was told once they decide the fate of the case it is closed, even if they can see a misunderstood decision on their part looking for a new bank.............

I have M&T Bank since they took over People's Bank. I use the Wilmington and Bennington, Vt…read more branches. This Bank must have a rogue security department. I have complained so many times about my problem and nothing is done to rectify the issue. Numerous security checks won't let me log in. They are harassing me so much that I am going to switch my bank shortly. It's always "Let's identify you" This has happened three times to me this week. It goes on and on. I called the complaint line but no one can help. I have a substantial amount in my money market and checking accounts, which they are not going to be able to use shortly. Because I have spent so much time and effort to resolve this, I have come to the conclusion the issue will never be resolved. I do not recommend this bank to anybody. I log in the same time each day, the same computer and they have no reason to put a customer through this. This is not a recent issue. Good bye to this bank.

That also means I have had a line of credit with these guys for just about 10 years! I have done everything from auto loans, personal loans and I even have their credit card! (Visa card) The staff here really do care about their members. Customer service seems to be their #1 goal. They meet it with flying colors. Loan applications are stream lined and when you stop in it can be a quick in and out! But they always have that personal touch with every member. Just whatever you do don't use the word bank! They will remind you that its a credit union! Something that they are proud of and they should be. Their online web site has also recently been updated. Everything is real time and you can review your loans and accounts from the same screen! It makes for easy money transfers and paying bills online has also just got easier! Huge, huge plus in my book. Mobile app is also available on your smartphone as well. (iPhone iOS & the Android OS.) It works just a good as the full site and its secure. So if your looking for money needs I'd really recommend looking into the credit union. They staff is amazing and the rates are just plain good and low! You just can't beat it!

I visited ATM in Williston VT St George location on 12/7. I work for mostly tips so always deposit…read morecash. I deposited 5 twenty's, 2 fifties and 2 hundred dollar bills for total of $400. An error suddenly appeared on ATM screen, then a screen to type in what I deposited, it had me do a "forced deposit". I thought this would get my tips into my account. I got a receipt and left thinking everything was ok. I go to deposit another $200 in tips 12/9 and see $400 credit but then a $300 debit. I went into branch and spoke to Assistant manager Kate Broggini, she said that machine doesn't like big bills, after I told her what bills I deposited, ATM apparently only deposited the $20 dollar bills. She filed claim and said it may take 10-15 days to be resolved. I checked again 12/17 and spoke to same manager, she stated audit of that machine was done on 12/15 so I should get a resolution shortly. I get a notice in the mail 12/20 saying I tried to benefit from forcing a deposit and there was no error on their part so they won't be giving me my money. So somewhere in the ether, is my much needed, hard earned $300 and neither the bank nor ATM vendor care enough to find it and do the right thing. It's easier to just tell me pound sand cause I'm a liar! That's another slap in the face, insult to injury. I only wanted what I rightfully earned at my job, I was and I am not now trying to gain or benefit in any way shape or form, I just want what's mine and I'm absolutely positively certain I deposited. They haven't checked cameras to see I deposited more than just 5 twenty dollar bills and sat at the drive thru trying to straighten and flatten out the bills so they went into the ATM easier after being in my wallet for days. Yes, In my wallet was that $400 and as of 12/21 only $100 made it into my account. I cannot accept this, or afford this and I'm no liar or slimy scammer trying to get over or gain a dime, I'm a hard working father of 5 and I have never seen anything like this, my own bank, TD Bank Williston on St George rd, stole my money and refuses to accept their mistake. This is a real huge blow to my monthly and holiday budget, and I don't work as much as I do for a bank to take my money then tell me I'm lying about it.
