However, I had water running down the walls, the skylight wells were soaking wet as was my flooring. Rain was coming in around roof vents... I spent over an hour using towels to dry walls which will be water stained, - the skylight wells look really bad. ...I am 83 years old, the hub is 85 and we don't need to have this kind of negligence. Covenant said they would send a painter and correct the damage. They will not get paid until the damage is fixed to our approval.

I requested an estimate to repair roof damage that was causing a leak. The completed work was a basic patch that fell well below reasonable expectations, as shown in the photos. When I raised my concerns, Joe Taylor, the owner of Walsh Roofing, stated that the task has been completed because a repair using all new materials would have cost more and that I likely would have cancelled the work. I fail to see how receiving a reasonable quote for a professional repair would result in canceling a job. Besides the missing shingles, he found "minor" problems. Esitmate was $800 or if I wanted to "do it right", $1400. Called McHale Roofing of Fruitland Park. He came out did an inspection of the roof and his estimate was $175 to replace the missing shingles and found nothing else wrong with the roof. Asked when the repair could be done, he said a crew would be out later that day.
