Went to the shop in moynihan train hall great seeing quick and nice. Food was tasty and well balanced the flalafel was flavorful but not as crisp as I would like. It could use some more time in the fryer. Other then that all the veg options and sauces added great flavor. Definitely awesome for a quick bite before the train. read more

Honestly really surprised how good this place was. It was in the food plaza of the Moynihan Trail Hall. Think of it as the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. Multiple people working on your meal right in front of you. You can choose from plate, salad or pita wrapped. Printed on a piece of paper on the glass is the options for everything, all the way from base to the toppings. They work quickly during peak hours so be ready to know what you want. I ordered the cauliflower quinoa bowl with tahini, all veggies except olives and it was delicious! There isn't much seating around 5pm on a Tuesday but my two friends and I were able to find a little bar area of the dining hall to squeeze in. For a joint that looks a little more like a chain in the middle of a train station I really was surprised. Really good and decent price. $13 and some change. Would come back. read more

I love the choices that Naya offers. I got a bowl with brown rice and lentils as a base. The chicken shawarma and about 10 toppings on my bowl. The meal was delicious. I especially love the Lebanese peppers, the fresh tomatoes, the extra romaine lettuce, the cucumbers and of course, the tasty chicken. This restaurant was one with the longest line inside the food hall....good reason for it. read more

Best value in the Moynihan Train Hall when it comes to a tasty, easy meal. Surprisingly cheap considering Cava and others charge 5-10$ more for what I got. We got their bowls and they were tasty! Everything was seasoned to our liking and it even came with a pita (don't forget to ask for it)! Recommended! Food Hall was kinda loud but that's not Naya's fault. read more

This store is conveniently located in Moynihan amongst all the other restaurants in the food hall. Similarly to CAVA or Chipotle, you can pick your ingredients to make your bowl. Service is relatively fast, and plenty of seating that is shared by all the other food options. For personal preference, I would rate taim, then CAVA, then NAYA... but it's still a good bowl to have if your preferred store isn't around! read more

Same concept ass cava or mezeh if you are familiar with it! I got the chicken shawarma bowl with a mixed of toppings which I enjoyed. The chicken was flavorful and juicy and I really enjoyed the jalapeño sauce that they had! Priced reasonably well and the portion was great. You get free pita bread which is cool! read more

I've really enjoyed their food, ordered the bowl with the lam. Really great place if you need to get your food quickly and catch your train. The personnel is very friendly and quick. I would definable stop by again when around Penn Station. read more

The food is good, but one of the workers definitely needs to be taught hygiene. There is a worker there named Nicole (at least that's what the pin she wore on her hat said), and she touches the food. The tongs are there for a reason. People DO NOT want you touching their food even with gloves on because you touch other things with those gloves! Teach her some proper hygiene or discipline her! read more

The food was great also the service was amazing the atmósfera very good crew members in this locations was very attentive and friendless.

We were in a rush to get dinner before our train left and thought this was the the best option since it was the most affordable for the amount given. Also, we liked the food too, it reminds me of cava but better sauces & flavors so I thoroughly enjoyed my falafel bowl! read more

[November 2024] This was the perfect wind-down from a long day of day-tripping/site-seeing around NYC. I've never heard of NAYA, but decided to give it a shot. It was delicious. The food was fresh and tasted just as good as it looked and even better than it smelled. There were lots of toppings and fixings to choose from, so I got a little of this and even more of that with my order. I opted for a salad bowl with a little bit of everything and a side of falafel and a scoop of hummus. (I regret not ordering two.) __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish read more

What a great fast casual spot inside Moynihan Food Hall perfect for grab and go before or after your train. While it was a bit oilier than Cava, the ingredients were equally fresh, flavorful, and well portioned. I got a salad bowl with half chicken kebab, half cauliflower, and almost all of the unlimited toppings, which made the perfect filling meal for just $12.99 ($11.99 if I had only gotten cauliflower). The service was fast and friendly. This has become one of my go-to fast casual spots in Moynihan. read more

When you're waiting for your train at Moynihan Train Hall, you've got a lot of excellent options for food. However, there aren't that many "healthy" options, and by that I just mean options that include greens and/or vegetables. Naya is one, and it's a good one. If you've ever had Cava, Naya is a similar shop. It's a lot of Middle Eastern flavors, done quite well, and you step up to the counter and ask them to throw whatever flavors you choose into a giant bowl (or wrap, or salad) for the scarfing. I'm always a combination of greens and grains base guy, and I've had both the chicken shawarma and the chicken kebabs, and I've been pleasantly surprised by both. One time, I even got both because I need that protein in my life. I know, I'm a wild man. From there, I keep it easy and tell the fine folks behind the counter to just give me everything: I want the hummus, the babaghanouj, and the toum. I want the cucumbers and their cousin the pickles, and the slaw and the feta and the onions and the olives and whatever else they want to load me up with. I'm not a monster though, I draw the line at getting all the sauces. So far, I've had the lemon tahini and the zesty green sauce too. Sure, you're just getting a bowl of food to eat in a big room staring at your phone like the rest of the people here, but at least at Naya, it's a big, flavorful, colorful bowl of tasty, real food. read more

I love this place so much! I love Middleeastern food and I love all of the flavors and customizations that this place offers. The cauliflower and chicken are both super flavorful. The baba and hummus are great. All of the dressings and condiments are well made. The variety of vegetables are top notch and super fresh and crisp. This location is in the food hall so you grab a seat where you can find one and the ambiance is quite nice and lively most times. The wait in the line can be quite long but you can also preorder online from the restaurant's app. Service is quite friendly and helpful. read more

Located inside the sparkling new Moynihan Train Hall across the street from the original Penn Station, this Naya location is one of several (excellently curated) restaurants at Moynihan Food Hall. It's quick & casual Mediterranean-Lebanese food with a "build your own" approach like Chipotle or Dos Toros (bowl, wrap or salad) and the food is delicious and healthy. I love that you can choose unlimited toppings, and the variety is great - I particularly like the hummus, garlic whip, and pickled turnips. Top it off with some red & green sauce and/or tahini and you're ready to jam! Your meal comes with a pita. I always order a bowl and it's very filling, and I get to pat myself on the back for having eaten a balanced and clean meal with proteins, veggies, carbs, and good fats. Prices are reasonable and typical, $11-$13 for a bowl at current writing, less for a wrap. It's busy but the line moves fast, serving both travelers and the midtown office crowd. The seating area in the food hall is spacious though gets pretty packed during lunchtime. Online connection is perplexingly poor in the hall (or is it just my cell carrier?), but you can get onto the Moynihan train hall wi-fi. read more

Was going to take a train in NY Penn station and stopped by Naya for a quick lunch . It was pretty good .. liked the concept .. almost like a chipotle for lebonese food . Service was quick and good . Costed about 12$ which is not bad for such a prime location. Had pita wrap and it was good . Filled up my tummy too. Hummus was awesome ... They also have felafels, shawarma etc. it gets busy in peak hours . Billing was quick today but not sure in peak hours. Overall I liked it .. 4 stars read more

If you need a quick meal that's light, healthy and filling, this is the place to check out. Service is fast, staff are patient, and plenty of toppings and helpings, including the pita bread to add to your meal free of charge. I got the Naya salad with chicken shawarma and topped it with a few falafel (added charge here). It did not disappoint. Food was fresh, sauces were decent, the garlic toum needed more garlic! Got time to kill while waiting for a train in Moynihan train hall in Manhattan, NYC? Several options in the food hall are affordable by Manhattan standards. Whether you want booze, watch sports, chocolate, smoothie, sushi, ramen, Middle Eastern, etc. I opted for Naya. $11 for unlimited veggies. I chose vegan options. They provide a bag, if needed, in case you're on the go. They're a chain. If not, there's train lounges if you've got a ticket. Food hall seats if you don't. There are plenty of areas to charge your phones, and the restrooms are clean. Photos include Naya vegan bowl with everything except dairy and eggplant. Added spicy verde salsa. Why 4 stars? I'm allergic to dairy, and I saw what appeared to be a lot of cross contamination. If you've got food allergies, beware. read more

Really good spot for a quick pick up before the train ride! Would I have liked ramen? For sure, but probably not the best on the train. It's basically the middle eastern version of chipotle. Was looking for a new place to try and was recommended to try Naya - mediterranean food. Can order take out and pick up via GrubHub or order in person.... First, pick your base: pita roll, rice bowl (white rice with vermicelli or brown rice) or salad. Then select your protein from 6 choices: chicken shawarma, chicken shish taouk, beef shawarma, lamb kebab, cauliflower or falafel. And finally, choose your toppings (you can have them all) and sauce. They also include small piece of round pita bread. I had the chicken shawarma white rice bowl with toppings and tahini sauce...was delicious. They also sell chips and dips separately, beverages and dessert to. Convenient location and if one goes before rush hour for lunch or dinner, the line goes quick. read more

NAYA is my all-time favorite fast-casual place in NYC! They had the most delicious bowls - I usually get half greens and half brown rice, with chicken shawarma and a bunch of their yummy veggie and hummus toppings. Feels healthy but flavorful at the same time. Also their Za'atar pita chips are bomb as a snack, highly recommend! read more

Lebanese fast food. I ordered the Naya bowl which came with really tasty rice, chicken, salad and other extra toppings you were able to get at no extra cost. Out of all the options at the train station, this one stood out the most to me for dinner. Most places were serving pastries/breakfast items and I was looking for an alternative to sweetgreen or a slice of pizza. This place hit the spot. The chicken is deeply marinated and the flavor carries through. You can get as many toppings as you want (and you definitely want to get all of them). Highly recommend the rice bowl for the extra few dollars because it is perfectly cooked and seasoned. It also comes with a side of smaller pita, so you don't feel like you have to miss out on that by choosing the rice bowl. read more

Keepin it real out here in midtown Not gonna lie, both times I had Naya was through some sort of free & discounted promotion, but they def kept up the quality despite the quantity they have to give out during those times. It's a slight nice change from the usual chipotle dos toros model. Not my personal top choice because it is on the healthier end but solid spot nontheless especially inside the fancy train hall. Naya is without question the best of the quasi-healthy food options in the new Moynihan Train Station Food Court at Penn Station. Bonus: It's quick and you can even order ahead via their app. They have wraps and salads and appetizers, but the main things to get here is the Chipotle-like bowl concept where you pick your base (like grains or greens) then add a protein and your choice of a bunch of toppings. The theme here is Mediterranean, so you'll have interesting topping options like hummus, baba ganoush, tzatziki, and shirazi salad (all included). The included pita with every bowl is a surprise bonus. It's surprisingly fresh and fluffy -- not like the dried-out supermarket pita you often get at this type of place. If you're familiar with Cava in the Mid-Atlantic area, this is a similar concept. Not quite as good as Cava, but good enough for the train station, and the bread is better. read more

I recently stopped by the Moynihan Food Hall after a long Amtrak ride, and was surprised by the amount of new options available! NAYA is an excellent, good-value, healthy, and quick meal. I ordered a bowl with every topping, and it was only ~$13, which given the times, is an amazing value. I'd take this meal over a stingy Sweetgreen salad any day. Service was quick, and there's ample (and clean) seating area in the food court. Who knew I'd ever be able to eat a healthy meal in Penn Station? Naya may be a chain, but I'm on board. At a fair price, I was able to get a bowl overflowing with goodness. I opted for the salad because I was more in the mood for a lot of greens (proteins are falafel and hummus). And the best part: you pick every ingredient in that bowl yourself so, if you're like me, you're not suffering through bell peppers and onions. You can ask them to pile on the hot sauce, even. The best falafel/hummus I've ever had? Of course not. But definitely good enough that I'd be thrilled with this option waiting for me should I ever miss a train. read more
