School of Communications, and there is Academy for Creative Media (ACM) in here too. It's pretty clean for the most part, and it's only three floors up. The classrooms are kind of spacious. Except for the chairs since it's bolted to the floor like any lecture classes, but it's definitely more space to shift your butt and legs around in compared to Spalding. The restrooms are pretty clean too, but not as nice as Webster's. I like the stairs. You walk in, and there is the stairway. While you wait for class, you can sit on it until it starts. Watch it accumulate people and make way for people walking. If you don't like the stairs, stand and be awkward. If you're going upstairs, you can take the elevator too, just located on the left side. By the way, it's slow. The administration office for Communications is located on the third floor, and they're really nice people. I know I wouldn't mind coming to Crawford for any of my classes.

Organizer planned the event well with a map of where vendors going to be in front of classrooms. They sent out emails and promoted vendors via Instagram. On day of event, hours are from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. There was DJ who played kpop music and had at video of kpop groups. Beside kpop vendors, there were vendors inside the cafeteria and food truck vendors on the grassy in front of the school. There were alot of people who came from town and other parts of the island to support their friends who were vendors. This was a great event and hope that the organizer will plan to have this event again next year.

HOURS? During regular school year, Mon - Fri, 7 AM - 6 PM (closed during HPU holidays). For this summer 2012, hours are Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM (May 14 - Aug. 31, 2012) AC, BABY! Especially welcoming on da days wen downtown no mo' trades + da weather makes you feel as if you're up someone's armpit SAFE, WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. Patronage of this area is limited to HPU students with a valid student ID. No need worry, beef curry, about having bums ask you fo' money, seeing druggies tweak out after their highs, etc. I have empathy fo' da kine populations, but wen I stay paying my hard-earned money to attend college at mo' den $1K PER COURSE, get some tings I no like deal with as I go about my college biz. STUDY, RELAX, REPEAT. There's about a dozen study cubicles situated in da back if you hardcore l'dat + really need to get some studying in. A large screen TV with comfy chairs is available in da middle of da room, and get a few addah sofas + comfy chairs scattered around. PC/PRINTER/WI-FI. The HPU's wi-fi system is available fo' your smartphone, netbook, laptop, or addah kine electronic device. You'll need a login + password. It's not meep-meep RR fast, but respectable enough. If you no mo' computer, get 4 PCs available to log into + utilize fo' writer papers, surf da 'net + print out. Mind you, da buggahs are a wee slowwwwwww. FAVE PLACE TO STUDY ON CAMPUS! I've come here every single freakin' week dis past spring semester + I totally love it. HPU students might not be aware of its existence, esp. since it just opened in Sept. 2011. It has changed. It's a nice place to get together with others and there's a TV, but on mute with subtitles. Along with the couches, there's cubicles/desk areas where you can study / sleep / whatever you please on your own. Three computers on the side if you rather not go to the computer lab and bathrooms in the back area. There's also offices for faulty, the student government meet in a room near the entrance and mailboxes for RSO's are hidden in the hallway. Remember, have your ID ready before walking in!

I just attended the Kaimuki vs PAC-Five football game at the Governor's home field and I want to…read moregive a five star review to the staff and especially the students who made the visiting spectators feel at home. From the girls who were assisting people with parking their vehicles, to the nice lady driving the golf cart who picked my wife and I up and gave us a lift to the stadium (I just had kidney stone surgery a couple of days prior and it was like she read my mind), to the greeters who welcomed us into the gates, everyone was fantastic. I never felt more welcome at any stadium anywhere. Keep up the great work Governors!!!

Last Saturday was the first time I've attended a FHS graduation service. To see local middle school…read moreteachers, elementary school teachers, state members, high school counselors, and teacher at the graduation, touched my heart. It was exciting to see the amount of school spirit and pride. There were 17 valedictorians. That's amazing and so proud of the c/o 2018. I came from a small private school and seeing a large student body and supporting families warms my heart. The community had a lot of pride as well. Many of the families went to Farrington as well. The school is slowly being renovated which is very overdue. The auditorium was updated several years ago and I hear that the gym is next. I'm glad to see that the all school are being renovated. It's much deserved.

The class sizes are very small which average to around 4-10 students per class period. This allows the teacher to provide individualized education to the students. Homework depends on what classes you have. It may be a lot or very little. The campus is unique with a peaceful setting. Though it could use some updating in some areas. The school has very high expectations and some of the expectations are very weird but they have a meaning and a purpose. This school has a very good mission and purpose.
