The maximum Medicare charge for that imaging is $214.53. CVOS billed me 15 times that for a total of $3,160. Don't get your imaging at this overpriced facility. There are other cash pay services that will charge closer to 3 times Medicare rates. I'll never go back. If the PT fails and I end up needing surgery, this place will NEVER GET ANOTHER DOLLAR OUT OF ME!!

Well he didn't stop his pain meds, as he has been in horrible pain, until 2 1/2 weeks before the surgery was planned. When Dr. Stewart's office called and asked my husband if he had stopped all meds a month before, my husband said no, he had been off of the pain meds for the previous 5 days and will be until the surgery. WELL, they threatened to cancel the surgery because he had not stopped the pain meds on their time table. I had called our pharmacist and he said that the surgery wouldn't be a problem as what he was on would be out of his system in 72 hours. My husband hasn't taken anything for a week now and we had 1 week and 2 days to go before the surgery. This morning, Dr. Stewart called my husband and said the surgery was canceled and DO NOT bother calling his office as they are severing ties with him. WHAT THE HELL!!! My husband has been in horrible pain and yes he was taking pain pills, but only at night to sleep. His regular doctor has prescribed these with no issues. Now this Dr. has an issue? My husband hates taking medications of any kind but he has to have some quality of life doesn't he. Living with horrible pain is not fun, I've done it. But this doctor to imply that he has a problem with pain meds? Horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CHIPPEWA VALLEY ORTHO TO ANYONE OR DR. STEWART. His patients are supposed to come first and this is how he treats them? .
