I canceled my membership and I've been fighting them for a year and a half and had to change my credit card because they'd pause the charges for 3 months after I disputed them thinking it was done, then they'd start charging again despite my documentation that I'd canceled. But with a marathon next week I was in a tough spot and was able to get in at this location. Upon arrival for my 10am appointment the front door was locked, the receptionist warmly greeted me and apologized. My masseuse, Quaina only does light-medium but did her best with my 200lb frame and hit my problem areas, and with the deep muscle enhancement I throughly enjoyed my session.

Let me start by saying I don't have a lot of free time, so when I go to a professional I'm paying…read morefor your time and expertise to save ME time. I wax my underarms but I wanted my legs done properly. The salon is clean and well organized, I can say that at least. My esthetician is a very fun person but her wax knowledge is lacking. The wax was too hot and gave me a heat rash each time. While she did use a clean stick each time, she didn't apply any tension and pulled slowly. My leg hairs are not removed, they are all broken. So I am left to deal with a multitude of ingrown hairs and stubble! I'm really upset and I HATE leaving bad reviews but this was too much to let slide. Never again.

They are new to the area, so they were very receptive to feedback when I encountered some issues on my first visit, and I haven't had a problem since. Coming from Seattle, the mask policy, or lack of it here, was a bit confusing, but local regulations are very different in AL and businesses can only do so much. So be aware that masks are not required at this location, but you are free to wear one if you prefer it. Plus at least some of the technicians do wear one.

I paid for 3 sessions of RF microneedling. The first time went great. The second time was so deep…read morethat it left discoloration and scarring on my face. I talked to the owner, who was very dismissive. He gave me cream that was supposed to help with healing but didn't give any instructions on how to use it. To make matters worse, he gave me the cream as if I owed him for it. I had multiple RF microneedlings before moving to Alabama. So, I know that this time was not normal. It has been over a month since then, and the discoloration and needle scars persist. I reached out to the owner for a full refund. He said they don't provide refunds but only store credit. Please tell me who, in their right mind, would want to go back to their medspa after what I have endured. Microneedling is supposed to make my face look better, not damage it. I have taken care of my skin, and they ruined it. The least they can do is own up to it and hold themselves accountable. Do not go to this spa! If something goes wrong with your procedure, you are on your own! They have no accountability!

Kristen is a great listener and has a warm personality and I would recommend her to everyone! (I live in Gurley, AL so my friends and neighbors here prefer to go to salons closer.) I have not been to see her as often as I would like because for the past year my schedule has been hectic. I cannot say enough good things about her! I am so glad she picked this occupation! And the salon is gorgeous inside! I wanted to add that, though most of the employees are young, I feel comfortable going there! I don't wear much makeup, if any, and I dress casually (shorts & t-shirts) because I am a young retiree! The last time I was there at their newest location, I found quite a few clients dressed like myself without much makeup on!

I walked out looking like I was wearing make up, my skin looked and felt THAT GOOD! (Seriously, my dark circles were actually lighter, like I had gotten a really good nights rest, but it was 3pm in the afternoon!) My esthetician Rezan went through a deeply personalized examination of my skin, listened to my concerns, gave really detailed advice (she was knowledgeable on the medical aspect of why skin does what it does), she wasn't afraid to use examples from her own skin journey, and best of all she did not try to oversell me on products. She really got to know my needs & fit the whole experience to take care of ME. I loved the beach wave sounds and great beach-themed decor of Rezan's facial room; it made a relaxing spa-atmosphere in a setting as clean and professional as the BEST doctor's office you've ever stepped foot in (really wish I took pics to show you what I mean, but I was busy having great conversation with the friendly ladies of the staff!).
