Another mini branch on the high street. The did a set of collectible coins when I was a kid growing up. The shiny animal mints were enough to keep me captivated as a customer making savings until I knew better. read more

Inside the staff are very friendly and professional, they seem to be very clued up on their poduct knowledge and the counter staff appear able to assist in general queries. The queues are managed very well and waiting time is limited which is great, but as always you may need to queue longer if visiting the bank over the lunch hours. All in all they offer a good service.

It's located next to Costa coffee, on the corner of the road, and opposite McDonnalds. Although there is no parking, you can often find a half an hour spot on Bevan St. I also buy currency and almost always find that they have the best exchange rate on the high street. Although there is no counter service on a Saturday, you can pay in cheques using the self service machine, and there are staff there to help you if you don't know how to use it.

Staff are friendly and helpful and there is plenty of free parking available nearby. The staff here are consistently helpful and knowledgable and did not bat an eyelid about having to check all the coinage when my child started an account there witht the contents of their piggy bank. They are happy to fill in forms for you and do the hard work and have instore consulting rooms for privacy. They also have a cashpoint here too. There is on road parking for a fee, outside. They are open 5 1/2 days a week - shutting at midday on Saturdays,

It has a lack of parking and a one-way system. All this makes it a drive thru option for short banking stops only. There are around 12 parking spaces and the roads 'moating' it can't be parked upon, so bare in mind it can be a bit of a gamble if you're in the car. On the plus side, the staff are wonderful here, and it's one of the few places with an ATM in the area. I prefer it to town, as it feels a lot more personal.

It took ages to pay in a cheque ... there were only three other people in the queue in front of me waiting to be served but the staff seem to have to input an awful lot of stuff! It took nearly 20 mins in total from arriving to getting out! By way of distraction, a staff member was helping another customer who had elected to use the machines inside the branch and it had taken her card "happens all the time" he cheerfully said before fetching a long pair of metal tweezers to insert into the slot. Now I know 'elf and safety' has gone mad but I did flinch watching him stick this metal object into an electrically powered machine ... I'm never going back ... don't think my nerves and patience will take it.

Beware, there is a tendency to hard sell some of the loan and mortgage products - even if you're just at the counter! If you can handle rebutting them every few minutes it's a pleasant place to bank.
