Never used the company but never will due to the male driver of the company truck OR#7104 White Tacoma (I also have his license plate). Yesterday I followed him from Gresham to sandy and he almost caused several crashes with his aggressive driving. He cut many people off and was speeding well over 80mph! Not very smart to drive like an a**hole in a company truck buddy. I would like to say that my experience with Tom and Naturescapes has been first rate. I had a terrible leak in a water feature which he systematically diagnosed and then repaired (and the finished product looked better then the original!). Tom has always been extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. As a contractor I know what it's like to try and justify costs in todays current economic climate. Material prices have sky rocketed as have labor costs. And with the advent of the big box store concept of "anyone can do it" it seems like many customers want something for nothing. You can't stay in business giving your services away and for people to expect that is very unreasonable. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is still very true. It is much more expensive to correct a project that has been done by some one who does not have the skill or knowledge to do it properly. My bottom line is that Tom is truly a professional, and, if you want quality it may cost a little more but he will certainly deliver it! read more

DON"T!!! By far, one of the most unpleasant vendor experiences of my life! First, a 4 thousand dollars job turned into 17 thousand dollars job! Okay. I had problem with my natural pond for years and I decided to go for it. Fork over the big money to have it done right for the upcoming wedding of my niece. Let me say it again....I wanted the pond to look right for a WEDDING! First thing he did was bring in a back hoe that tore up my lawn. Okay. I understand. Back hoes are messy on wet grass. I called him to ask him what I...not him...what I could do about it. He said, "Hey man, back hoes don't float on air!" Such a patronizing jerk, as he had been from the start. Okay. Some people are just assholes. I can deal with it because the pond is gonna look great. Just get through it, Adam. So I come home from daughter's graduation this Sunday, expecting the pond to be full. It's not. I call him. Again, he's a condescending prick, and said he had to redo something, blaming it on me, explaining his crew isn't accustomed to working on "half-assed jobs." So now, my 17k job is half-assed! I say something about this to him and he says, ""You know what I mean." I say, "No, I don't know what you mean at all. Is my pond half-assed?" Long story short (too late!) the day comes when I pay him. The falls looks great. But all the way around the edge of the pond the liner is sticking up seven inches in most places! I tell him I'm not happy, but he doesn't care. I ask him to explain and he says his crew laser measured so he "doesn't know what happened." I say, "You're really gonna leave me with this? For a wedding?" He shrugs his shoulders and says "Yeah. We'll fix it next year, when we put the rocks in on the bottom of the pond." Something we had talked about when I was still giving him the benefit of the doubt. But for him to say this now???? Like I am EVER going to hire this f%$#ing guy again! I feel so taken by the vile, condescending little man I could scream. Stay away! He's horrible, arrogant and will overcharge you for everything, do a "half-assed" job, then shrug his shoulders as he takes your check. read more

I wish I had read the review by Shawn H. before even calling this outfit, but luckily they didn't get a chance to screw me over. Totally unprofessional! No matter what was agreed to concerning him showing up or anything else, Tom whom I dealt w/, just flat out disregarded what was said. He showed up unannounced on a Thursday wanting to look at the pond. When he called telling me my gates were locked, I explained that my wife would not be available until the following Monday, & that she wanted to talk to him BEFORE he did anything. Instead, He showed up Friday & let himself into my backyard by reaching over the gate & unhooking the latch! He called me & told me he got in which shocked me. I reminded him of our conversation the day before & he just brushed it aside. He shows up again today (Monday) & instead of ringing the doorbell, he attempts to once again, just let himself in to the yard. Luckily my wife saw him on the security cameras & confronts him. She was on the phone & explained she needed 10 mins before she could speak to him. He said in a terse voice " I won't be here". He called me complaining about access to the yard, and called my wife "some lady". I told him to take a hike. I wrote this out in detail to ensure those thinking about hiring this company would think twice! Tom even had the nerve to mention some "contract" BS!!!
