Things started off really well when we signed an annual contract with Nature's Select in Spring of 2015. Our technician was helpful, and always called us in advance before he came out to make sure our dogs had time to get out. Our lawn was looking great and improving. During the summer, our tech switched to Darian and things went downhill quickly. First the notices started getting shorter and shorter. Our lawn started looking horrible, and the helpful tips they'd put on the service notices stopped. I came home right before one of the treatments and went back outside about 10 minutes later and saw that they were wrapping up a treatment. They weren't there when I got home, and how do you treat an entire 1/4 acre lawn in 10 minutes?!? You don't put out what you're supposed to. You rip people off. This is a horrible company with no customer service when you call. In addition to everything else, we had to call almost every month because we had a charge showing even though we had paid in advance for a full year. Stay away from this company. read more

I have been using Nature's select for a number of years and for a while it was going fine. Then recently I called to cancel the lawn aeration and seeding on 9-18-19. On October 2, 2019 they came out anyway and in the process ran over one of my sprinklers. To their credit the technician wrote a nice note and offered to replace it. Then when I called to cancel my service the woman on the phone accused me of not paying my bill the for the last aeration and seeding in 2018. The customer service has been lackluster and would recommend another company. read more

We've been using Nature's Select for a year now, and our lawn looks the best it has since we bought this house five years ago. They use natural products that are safe for children and pets, which was important to us. The employees are friendly and helpful. In fact, the owner gave me some great landscaping advice. Their mosquito remediation works well, and they use a product derived from garlic that is very safe. But at once a month the treatments are spaced too far apart (should be no more than 3 weeks apart), so you end up getting eaten alive by mosquitos the last week and a half before they come back to treat again. Still, we've been able to enjoy our yard more since they started treating it than ever before. I would highly recommend the mosquito remediation...just ask them to schedule your treatments three weeks apart instead of once a month. Now for the negatives. They're typically very slow to call you back. In fact, sometimes you have to call multiple times over the course of a week or so before you hear back from them. And watch where they put you on their schedule. They postponed our fall seeding until December. Most of the seed they planted froze and died. They made it right as possible by re-seeding as soon as they could this spring. I'm not expecting my grass to live through the summer, though, because it didn't have all winter to develop a good root system. I'll give them another chance, but if they're not out here by early September this year to seed our lawn, I'll probably find another company for my turf service. read more

I have use this premium services for a number of years and have been happy with the results. However, recently the service has been extremely poor. My yard looks like nothing has been done to it despite regular service. They accused me of not paying my bill because they charged it to the wrong account. At this point, I would no longer recommend Natures Select premium for my yard care. They did not even respond to my most recent email. I have used there select service versus the traditional service. My yard looks atrocious. read more

We tried nature select after buying our home. While the one time they sprayed our yard aided in the grass health, the customer service was the absolute worst. Our home is modest, but we live next to a prominent neighborhood. First, it took several attempts just to make contact. Then, once we finally set up an appointment, the man did not show. He said he tried to call, but we didn't get a message and it sounded like he forgot but was trying to cover his tracks. When a man finally came for the consultation, I asked him to do the weeding as well, he agreed, we were quoted and told them we wanted to proceed. They said they would begin that week. Well, that was a lie. We had to call twice more (after a week) for them to come. Finally they came and only sprayed the grass and I paid the full amount at that time. I called back and asked why they didn't touch the weeds. Their reply was they has to wait for the spray to sink in to the grass. A week and a half later, I call and the tech said he was 20 minutes away, a few hours later, I look outside and still see weeds! My husband calls and the tech said he sprayed the poison ivy but does not do "landscape" aka weeding. Am I deaf, or did they agree to that in the consultation? We decided at that point we were done. Then we got a bill in the mail. Since we paid, I assumed it was mix-up. Tried to call- no response. So I let it go. The next month I get another larger bill which was increased because we "didn't pay" the last one. I was fuming. I called the company- didn't get an answer, tried to leave a message and after10 seconds, for disconnected. So I called the tech. Through our conversation, I find out that I have been working with two different men both named Brian. Neither explained they were different people (I had met one at the consult and spoken to the other on the phone). This Brian told me that the other came to the consult and he is not sure what the other Brian quoted me. I told him we no longer wanted their services, explained why, and he then insulted our yard saying "it will continue to be a mess without our services. I did this yard in the past, and now whoever is moving is doing a terrible job." He then bragged about the 80 houses he does in the wealthy neighborhood next to ours. I got the feeling he was saying that had we lived there, we would have gotten better service. Needless to say, I am requesting no one else waste their time with these unprofessional slackers. read more
