After speaking to them over email, they delivered our box the very next day. We got a really impressive variety of veggies, bell peppers, peppers, onions, garlic, cabbage, eggplant, herbs, leeks and even a huge yellow melon. The price is 15 euros for a 'standard' box and they deliver weekly (you can arrange with them). They have a sort of membership, you have to agree to 10 deliveries which costs 150 euros (15 euros a box + delivery) and that includes IVA. highly recommend if you live in Tuscany! We are so happy to have a variety of fresh organic veggies to truly eat healthy in a way without having to travel at all. You are also more than welcome to visit the farm and they encourage it!

Then our mains were a butter sage ravioli and porcini mushrooms pasta. All cooked perfectly and very tasty. Service by a young man was prompt and he was friendly. Second night in a row to enjoy dinner on the piazza so obviously we like the area. La Grotta would be a great choice to visit once again!

He guided us through a salami selection and made us taste different cheeses with assorted pairings. He then informed us of the different olives, tomatoes and breads. We walked away with salami, pesto, focaccia, mozzarella, olives, olive oil soaked tomatoes all for about 40 euros... we could not have been happier that we stopped in and were treated to his expertise! What a great local treat this was, a fantastic end to our day in Lucca!

We absolutely fell in love with her family house, the truffles, and her wonderful dog! Her dog found about $200-$300 worth of truffle. Following the truffle hunt, we were taken back to the house and served a wonderful lunch with bread, truffle pasta, and Contucci con vinsanto. We also enjoyed the wines produced from Francesca's estate. Overall, I recommend scheduling a truffle tour if you are ever in the area.
