Naturopathy is a belief in the ability of the body to heal itself. We recognises the bodies complex and intuitive healing methods which are perfectly & intricately balanced to maintain homeostasis. Nature has an ability to regenerate itself as does the human body. The Naturopaths role is to support and encourage this natural ability to heal. We treat a wide variety of health conditions including, food intolerances, digestive issues, fatigue, stress, anxiety, skin conditions, hormonal imbalances, depression, colds, viruses, weight management, autoimmune diseases, heart health, aches, pains etc. Working synergistically with your existing health providers to obtain the best outcome for you, the client. Our Naturopaths are educated in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, biochemistry, evidence based natural medicine, clinical medicine, pathophysiology, counselling,herbal & nutritional medicine, mineral therapy, iridology, Flower Essences & naturopathic philosophy. We specializes in weight management programmes detoxification programmes, & general health care programmes over a 1mth, 3mth or 6mth timeframe. Ongoing support is provided.
History
Established in 2012.
Naturally Wise has evolved alongside my journey into health & wellness. Initially Naturally Wise was born through a love of my kids & a leading a healthy lifestyle. I began reading food labels to avoid additives, then I researched the additives and discovered more than I bargained for!!..... then there was a further realisations that our skin is our largest organ & what we put onto our skin is absorbed through it, into the bloodstream & lymphatic system. With more research I found that toxins absorbed or ingested can be stored in organs & build up in the body over time............... Next came a market stall............ & then a website for natural health products such as deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, ear candles, skin and cleaning products with natural or organic ingredients. We relocated from the NT to sunny QLD so I could finish my studies.The website has evolved further into a practitioner based website to now reflect my qualifications in Naturopathy & Nutritional medicine.

My background.......As a young girl growing up I was blessed to have been schooled in many countries, including Australia, England, New Zealand & Malaysia.
I remember vividly the differences between the healthcare system in the first & third world countries we lived in. Miri, a small coastal town on the north-eastern coast of Sarawak, Malaysia, was my first introduction to alternative medicine as there was a large percentage of Chinese in the population and Traditional Chinese Medicine shops & market stalls abounded. I loved these shops they were so colourful & interesting with dried mushrooms, herbs & powders scattered around, things hanging from the rafters & small glass bottles & vials lined up on the shelves....I was mesmerised. My mother was a big advocate herself for healing the natural way..... my mantra growing up was, 'Your body knows how to heal itself'.......... I am now a qualified Naturopath & Nutritionist.
