L'equiper is great place for safety gear and work clothes in Canada. Known as Mark's Work Wear…read moreHouse in other provinces it has a great selection of outdoor wear, safety wear, work and boots and general men's clothing. I believe this is the best place to come for high quality work wear. Not really the kind of stuff you want to buy for the boardroom, but for those that get their hands dirty while working it's your place! Owned by Canadian Tire and has good selection, price and decent quality. Today I wanted to come check it out as it has been years since I've been in a L'equipeur location. I was checking to see what deals they had on outdoor wear. Specifically looking for some long underwear as it's been ridiculously cold the last month. I looked at a few different models but I'm looking for a deal at this time of the year and it was full price so I didn't bite. Most hilarious observation: They have hot pink safety helmets if this is your style. Also other colours. Note to self...I wasn't aware safety and different colours were so in style! Nothing bought today.

So lately I've found myself doing the rounds of various Sports Experts ( don't ask me why) and this…read morelocation is one that I frequent every so often. Location: Central and near all of the other shops in the area. Parking is limited. Selection: They have a wide variety of clothing that ranges from yoga apparel (limited selection) to bathing suits to ski gear to everyday sports clothing. Right now, they're well stocked with winter coats and ski gear. They have a decent selection of shoes and boots but I've never found anything that worked for me. They do seem to have frequent sales in the shoe department. Price: Depends on what you're looking for. I wouldn't say they're cheap because they do carry some higher end brands such as North Face, Helly Hansen etc. but my experience has been that if you hit them up at the END of a season, you'll hit the mother load. At least that's what happened when I went by at the start of September - I spent way more than I planned to. Oops! Service: Hit or miss. This time around, the assistant manager helped us find the perfect winter coat for my mum. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive to our needs. She really tried her best to find something that would work for my mom, made plenty of suggestions, explained the 'build' of the jackets she looked at etc. Five stars for the amazing service. I say it's hit or miss because in general, I don't find the clerks on the floor to be all that helpful or interested. I guess it depends on the day.

Walmart in Mascouche is a busy place. The best time to come here is in the evenings. The worst…read moretime to come is on the weekends. It started out as a normal Walmart and then they turned it into a Super centre with a full grocery store + Mcdonalds and travel agent. What Walmart succeeds in is price and good selection. What they lack in is high quality and mid to high end items. I come here for personal staple items (Shampoo, toothpaste, shaving products dental products etc) If you want to come and see some of Terrebonne Lachenaie and Mascouche finest people come here. It's a fantastic place to do a case study for your sociology class of people in your neighbourhood. Don't be shocked people this is real life in it's most genuine form. You may have seen some of the online photos of "people of Walmart". I say no more. Google it if curious. Come for the cheap prices, support a multinational Bentonville, Arkansas American company. It's all for the greater good of mankind! Lol!

Came by this Costco as part of a pit stop on our trip to Quebec City…read more Part 1: Costco gas - the line was not too long, waited maybe 5-10 min before it was our turn. There were 2 employees helping people to ensure everything was moving smoothly. Overall, a good experience. Part 2: Costco wholesale. It was pretty busy in this store. It looked like they had a pretty good variety of items. Veges and meat looked pretty fresh. Nothing out of the ordinary for Costco. Nothing that stood out to me as good or bad. Line up was long but everyone was moving smoothly. Part 3: Costco food - we got a hot dog which comes with a drink and 30 wings. Every 10 wings comes with 1 sauce package - bbq and some spicy sauce are your choices. The spicy sauce tasted like some sort of Tabasco based sauce. The bbq sauce tasted like McDonald's bbq McNugget sauce. The hot dog was average - need to ask if you want fried onions. The wings were freshly made. Nice breading on the outside and juicy on the inside but lacked flavor overall. The sauces are needed but even the sauces are very one-note. Only thing that was slightly bad was they forgot to give us our drink (comes with hot dog) and we had to go back and ask. Price for food is, of course, cheap - it's Costco! Overall, a pretty usual Costco experience. It's what Costco is known for (consistency) and what I expected - nothing more, nothing less.

All Costco are pretty much the same except maybe for the service and price of gas. We came here to…read moreshop, and only some workers speak English. I saw some skirts, which I don't think we're sold in hawaii, and asked her if they had a certain size, but she could not understand me and grabbed another that did. The other worker left and I had another question, but she ignored me because I guess she figured she couldn't understand or answer me. My son got poutine from the concession stand, and it was really good. Only about $5, which is really cheap. When I checked out, my card couldn't pay for the items because usa issues us visa Costco. Canada only accepts Costco MasterCard, so I had to pay with cash since we didn't bring our debit cards. There was a long line at the gas, we didn't want to wait in line to find out we can't use outwards to fill up. Luckily, we stumbled upon another Costco going towards quebec city that had gas 10 cents per liter cheaper than this one. I gave this Costco a 3 star because it's way too busy inside and more expensive at the pump, and the employees don't really help you.
