I was overweight and wanted to improve my overall health. I really liked her holistic approach to wellness. She made a very complete evaluation of my physical and emotional health. She offers a plethora of healing therapies that are very complimentary. I have personally benefited from her treatments, which include gentle acupuncture sessions, magnet therapy, and cupping, among other types of treatments. After a full consultation, Terra prescribed me personalized treatments that include herbal medicines, homeopathy, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle recommendations. However, it was her intuitive approach and deep care for her patients that really impressed me about Terra. She follows up, answers questions, and makes herself available when I have specific questions or concerns. I had an incredibly wonderful pregnancy and I owe most of it to Stacy, her acupuncture treatments and knowledge about supplements and nutrition. She helped treat my heartburn and poor sleep. I stayed healthy throughout my entire pregnancy and never felt like I was dragging. My energy stayed high, my spirits good. I felt great! I didn't suffer from the typical pregnancy woes and I truly believe it was due to Stacy's treatments. At one point, I had to skip a couple weeks of treatments and I really felt a difference. My ankles swelled up, my heartburn came back and I did not sleep well at all. What a miracle! When I went post-dates, I knew I wanted to induce. I went to Stacy and she did some gentle induction points and voila - baby was born the next day! Stacy has been wonderful for my postpartum care. She came to our home for a home-visit a few days after our baby was born. Her treatments helped me so much during that sensitive time. I highly recommend Stacy for women who are pregnant, trying to conceive or have just had a baby. She'll take great care of you!

I've always been nervous about receiving massages because I'm ridiculously ticklish, but he quickly put me at ease. Due to having an extremely busy month, I've been struggling to sleep well the last two weeks and have been waking up fatigued every day. It felt like I actually had a full night's sleep and the fatigue left me. Vishal is extremely professional and knowledgeable about his craft and I'd recommend EVERYONE I could to him. My diet and nutrition have significantly improved after following the guidance he suggested. Along with massage, acupuncture, cupping, and healing my digestive issues, Vishal assisted me in radically eradicating a red, uncomfortable rash/irritation I was experiencing under both my eyes. I had no idea what was causing this and came to Vishal for guidance. After lots of questions and digging deep into my health history, removing certain facial products I was using and certain foods I was eating, and tracing this rash to its root cause, Vishal was able to determine that the rash was due to a low grade infection in my mouth! Finding out this information has been extremely profound for me and my health. Thanks to Vishal I finally went to the dentist and have taken care of the infection. Vishal has many special gifts and talents that are very present in his healing modalities such as: powerful and clear intuition, healing touch, the ability to be completely present and get to the root cause of problems, great listening skills, and a vast range of knowledge in nutrition, health, yoga, the body, and spirituality. He has a beautiful way of incorporating them all in his practice. Vishal has an innate gift to create a space where his clients feel safe, relaxed, and heard. I am experiencing incredible benefits from receiving treatment from Vishal. I feel healthier, happier, clearer, and more vibrant after each session. Vishal is one of a kind and it is truly an honor to receive treatment from him. A 10/10 experience each time. Janis encouraged and inspired me to turn my life and health around to a life filled with less physical pain, stronger physical movement and mental, emotional clarity. For more than 20 years I struggled with numerous physical disabilities, including fibromyalgia, interstitial cystitis, chronic fatigue, depression and various structural impairments. After visiting over 250 doctors and alternative healers, I was at a point of despair. Upon meeting Janis, she reassured me that her work could help. After such disappointments with past healers, I was skeptical. During my first visit with Janis, these fears and beliefs were dispelled, as she imparted her loving, genuine, supportive spirit, which gave me the strength to realize true healing. It is not often that someone with such gifted healing skills would offer the kind of generous attention and care that she did. Janis not only helped my pain to lessen through her physical work, but she took the time and care to help me go deeper with understanding the roots of my pain and how it can manifest through my thoughts and beliefs. A true educator of body movement, she also taught me the importance of posture and proper body mechanics applied to daily activities. Janis is dedicated to making a difference in people's lives, innately understanding the healing process. She exudes the highest qualities of an outstanding physical healer, and educator. Her passion and desire to learn and grow, reflecting upon her skills and client interactions sets her apart from her peers. Janis has been an amazing gift in my life. He sent me to Dr Kar. My family friend at the Cape, related by marriage to the former director of Music Academy of the West, asked her for a referral (not knowing I was already set) and she too recommended Dr Kar. When I walked in, I remembered I'd come in 2000 during a time of such turmoil I didn't even recall having gone in for a session. (I have a Marilu Henner-ish memory, which really speaks to my state of mind at the time.) In college, I struggled with digestive issues. Then I was fine 25 years till menopause and it's been touch and go the past few years. Dr Kar is truly the best. He's incredibly intuitive and comes from a family of Chinese medicine practitioners. My doctor in New York is fantastic but after the session, I felt as though I had had 20 mg of Valium. Just remarkable. He prescribed herbs (I'm a skeptic but he kindly waived the new patient consult up charge so I acquiesced). They worked but I need to reduce the dose (3 pills 3x a day was too much). I'm here to write a difficult book and will probably go twice a month, but to start, I'm going two consecutive weeks. Pay cash if you can to avoid the 2.7% credit card fee. Parking is easy on State Street, especially in a pandemic, where for no reason this New Yorker and rational individual can fathom, people are still paranoid. Absurd. Every few weeks I look at the death toll for the county (423,000) and shake my head. For a YEAR, it's what New York had on a semi-good day. And by New York, I mean the city, not the Fingerlakes or God knows what upstate place that city people never go unless they own a house or know someone with a country seat.
