Luckily I was able to find Dr. Tom who was able to lead me in the right direction. During my first appointment, Dr. Tom spent time reviewing my overall health and past medical history, something that I was not used to. Most doctor appointments that I have had were less than 30 minutes long and the doctor usually didn't review my medical records before hand. Dr. Tom, on the other hand, reviewed the intake forms that I had completed prior to the appointment and was prepared with solutions to my current health concerns. He put together a treatment plan that allowed me to incorporate specific supplements into my diet to help improve my allergic reactions as well as digestive issues. Thanks to Dr. Tom, I realized the importance of having a strong foundation when it comes to leading a healthy life. With the everyday stress of school, I put my digestive and allergic problems on the back burner. With the help of Dr. Tom, I improved my diet and eliminated certain foods that caused inflammation and discomfort. In addition, I completed blood lab work to identify my allergy triggers and began to take allergy supplements to completely reduce my symptoms. The best decision that I have ever made was becoming a patient at Equinox. I, like many other people, accepted the health issues that I had and wasn't making an effort to improve them. By going to Dr. Tom, I made my health my priority which only improved my outlook on life and motivated me to continue to take care of myself. If you are seeking a caring and attentive naturopathic doctor then this is the right place for you!

He is very thorough with his evaluation and takes detailed notes which he posts in the portal for you to view at any time. He is also very responsive to any messages sent to him through the online portal as well. Dr. Matteucci is worth his weight in gold; the vitamins/supplements recommended after my first consultation had me feeling improvement within days. I also did additional testing (blood, stool, saliva/adrenaline) to further identify what was going on with me and Dr. Matteucci recommended some protocols that I have found incredibly beneficiary so far. He was never pushy when it came to doing any additional testing or purchasing supplements (either from him or amazon) and was also very cost-aware when recommending any. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Tom Matteucci to anyone looking to improve their health and wish I had started seeing him sooner.

You could spend the rest of your lifetime searching for a better, more capable, more compassionate…read morehealer than Dr. Laurie and come up completely empty-handed. In fact, I'd be willing to place a small wager that is exactly how it would play out. In my estimation Dr. Laurie is a True Healer in that she does not simply try to relieve or mask symptoms, but rather aims to lead you to your healthiest, highest vibrational self. Laurie's intuition and integrity are second to none. Her compass is aimed True North and it does not waiver. She uses natural, holistic modalities and only resorts to herbs and/or supplements when she is very clear that is what will serve you best. I never once felt like she was trying to sell me something or encouraging me to take excessive amounts of things. In fact, it was quite the opposite. She consistently encouraged me to simplify my supplement regimen and focus more on my diet, exercise and lifestyle choices. This was a very difficult approach for me to embrace, being that I've always been in search of more supplements and magic pills that would "fix" me. When I finally started to really take ownership of my food intake specifically, I began to realize why Dr. Laurie was so adamant that I look first to food for my medicine. I am not exaggerating when I say that when I showed up to Dr. Laurie's office for the first time, I was physically, spiritually and emotionally broken. Dr. Laurie firmly, yet compassionately led me back to a My Path. I had spent the better part of half a life avoiding, mistreating and numbing myself, so the journey wasn't always easy and the results didn't happen overnight, but upon meeting Dr. Laurie for the first time, I never once questioned whether I was in the right place or not. To be honest, I don't think I've ever left a review for anything, ever in my life. But because I relied on past reviewers as my entry point to ultimately deciding to reach out to Dr. Laurie, I feel the urge to write this review in hopes that it might help somebody (or somebodies) who are looking for guidance from a world-class human and healer. This is a different kind of medicine/healthcare than many of us are used to. It is not some "magical" modern technology or pill that promises to instantly "fix" you. My advice would be to commit to 5-10 visits/treatments with Dr. Laurie. Take it seriously. Give yourself the time and grace to rest and recalibrate after the first few treatments, as it may stir some stuff up and you may feel tired, etc. Monitor closely the changes you experience over 5-10 treatments. My guess is that you will find yourself on a new path. If you feel the call, trust that path and in a few Months you will likely find yourself in a new, better place. I strongly urge you to at least try this for yourself. If you won't do it for yourself, do it for the people and the world around you. Do not underestimate the impact the best version of yourself can have on this world and the people you love. "If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation." -Wang Fu ***** This review was written by my husband and posted from my account. It is based on his experience after seeing Dr. Laurie for approximately 18 months. ****

Her recommendations for homeopathic remedies are so refreshing! She is very kind, thorough and provides wonderful insights into health and wellness. I now, Jan'21 find myself back to her for a seemingly incurable hand irritation (think contact dermatitis). I spent nearly a year trying to figure it out with a topical steroid/mineral oil aka Vaseline/Aquaphor (just don't) that was recommended by a doctor. She nailed it with natural topical oil, herb capsules, floral essence tincture and acupuncture. I am now cured of the annoying irritation which took only one week from my visit. I didn't realize how much it was impacting my daily life which consisted of constant worry of an allergy reaction and itching. I am really doing a re-haul on my body these days and have her to thank.

Our son, who has Level 1 ASD, previously struggled with navigating daily life, especially when confronted with challenging events. Such events often triggered him to fully shut down, rendering him unable to communicate or process what occurred. After his treatments, we observed a subtle, yet significant shift in his ability to regulate his emotions and communicate during times of distress. While occasional outbursts still occur, their frequency and intensity have decreased significantly. We can now engage in meaningful conversations with him during or after these events, dramatically improving our ability to comfort him in difficult times and support his learning and growth. For parents facing similar situations, we have several notable observations: (1) Our son remains as independent and strong-willed as ever; these are inherent aspects of his personality that have not changed. The transformative shift lies in his improved ability to manage frustration, regain composure after distressing events, and communicate while upset. (2) We believe the reduction in anxiety and overwhelm from the treatment also supported the success of other strategies we pursued, including ABA therapy and adjusted parenting approaches. (3) The improvements, while most apparent during treatment, have largely endured, demonstrating a lasting positive impact. Although challenges still arise, our son's enhanced ability to navigate the world has dramatically improved his daily life, and consequently ours. Thank you, NeuroField, for making this possible.
