I was NOT expecting the AAA top notch treatment I received today. I am searching for a new fin friend and felt like a Betta was appropriate. Times sure have come along way since we put one in a bowl. I had so many questions and wanted to make sure I was doing everything ethically correct. The sales associate was so patient and literally spent over an hour with me. There is so much to intake and understand. These guys are the fish gurus of the industry. Don't waste your time with the big box pet stores that start with the letter "P" that sell sick fish. (and there are 3 of them in Santa Rosa). Such a vast selection of fish to choose from. I found the store to be clean and fully stocked. So many fish! All of the fish appeared to be happy, clean, healthy and well cared for. There are multiple Koi ponds in the backyard with all sizes of Koi. The associates were also super sweet and let me use their private bathroom for my tiny bursting bladder.

The owner is an encyclopedia britannica of information and maintains high end aquariums all over the bay. They specialize in both Salt and Freshwater environments and have everything you need to support both types of aquariums. My experience was fantastic. I had the thought of gifting my wife an aquarium because she loves them and it helps her de-stress. The only problem though is that I knew next to nothing. After doing some basic research I stepped into Under the Sea Aquatics and I'm glad i did. I didn't buy anything for my first visit but more of a recon. I then left to digest and think about what would be best. I returned and got the necessary supplies I would need to build the aquarium. After gifting, I took my whole family there and we started to populate our new family aquarium. My wife followed up with trips to continue to add to our aquarium. Long story short is that this is not just an aquarium business, it is a community center for Northbay/Bay Area aquarium enthusiasts.
