An elderly couple left, who had also not been served and looked upset. Me and my family also then left after not being served for almost 20 minutes. I would advise any tourists to AVOID this place as they only seem to cater for local residents and wouldn't look at any tables with foreigners. Very disappointed as the town of Estepona had been very friendly and helpful before this encounter- it was a real let down.

But to give us more of a sense of direction, we'd enter the plaza from Calle Jacinto Benavente as our 'landmark' and head down the street. Erica (owner? manager?) gave us the inside scoop on Runa Kay's ice cream history- which turned out to be a quite tasty dairy, gluten and sugar-free (none that hubs and I adhere to) product. The common chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, etc ice cream flavors are listed- but it was their fruit-base flavors like their Lemon-Ginger or hubs' Pomegranate that grabbed our attention and held up just fine with Marbella's heat. The name is hilarious to me because one doesn't necessarily expect a place known for churros to also cater to Asian flavors, i.e. "the noodles." What we loved about this charming locals place was the outdoor seating, the Anadulician crowd enjoying their evening out, and of course the delicious churros! Let me tell you about those churros - they are made to order, hot and fresh, filled or not filled, and are deliciously addictive and satisfying in their fried magnificence. There are a few options listed on the menu: you can have your churro long style, which is a golden fried piece of heaven, filled with Nutella or dulce de leche (caramel). The chocolate filled churro was not listed on the menu but I eavesdropped on the table next to us ordering the chocolate filled one so don't be shy and ask for that if you love chocolate. We ended up ordering one long churro and two filled, one with chocolate and one with the dulce. They were piping hot and so tempting that I couldn't wait for them to cool down before I took the first bite and consequently burned the tip of my tongue. Totally worth it! Add a couple of strong coffees and a bottle water and our bill came to 5.50€. I definitely recommend Churros & Noodles if you're ever in this part of the world. I had a lovely cappuccino followed by a very tasty and well made cheese & mushroom omelette. I believe that a good omelette says a lot about a place.
