Tennessee Language Center did an excellent job preparing me to teach English as a Second Language…read more I had already taught ESL for 5 years as a volunteer and loved helping immigrants and refugees. However, I knew I needed something more to improve my skills. The in person classes taught me how to create lesson plans that were interesting and engaging. Word games, pictures, and roleplaying, in addition to structure, made learning a joy for students and teacher. Also, being certified as an ESL teacher opened the door for employment to nonprofits including TLC. I'm grateful for the numerous students from all over the globe they have brought to me. The satisfaction of equipping them to not only survive, but thrive Is extremely rewarding. Sharon

My kids loved working with Miss. Tiffany and greatly miss having her around. She worked with our family for 2 years until she moved to another state. The kids request to work with her virtually and Miss. Tiffany continues to help them from time to time. We know we won't find any tutor like her. She provides enrichment and homework help but she differentiates herself from most tutoring companies because she genuine cares about each child and meets them at their level. Originally I wanted my kids to catch up with their missing work and thought my kids would be miserable with a tutor but they love working with Miss. Tiffany. She spends time with my children and ensures they get their work done as well as have a fun time. Miss. Tiffany is flexible and has become a big part of our family. I've noticed a huge improvement in my kids grades as well as their desire for learning. We love her and it's unfortunate she moved out of cali but we wish the best for her
