Nothing extraordinary but nice atmosphere and good food. They honor veterans with meals and free play on Wednesday.

I am rating this based on the hotel room, not the actual casino (which was clean but I don't…read moregamble). While on a road trip visiting several tornado alley states, I chose Osage Casino Hotel as my stop in Oklahoma being that I wanted to visit the Twister Museum in Wakita the next day. Not too many hotels out that way so Ponca City seemed like a good choice. This was literally the nicest hotel I have stayed in outside of Vegas! The rooms are BEAUTIFUL and spacious. There's a living room area up front with a TV and the bedroom has an additional TV as well. Really nice and clean bathroom with a very modern shower. Vanity mirror to do your makeup, kitchen sink area above the refrigerator. I actually wish I could have taken this hotel room with me on the rest of my trip. Great view of the pool and it was wonderfully quiet in the room for sleeping. There's no smoking on the hotel room floors and you couldn't smell anything despite smoking being allowed in the casino. They had a really nice free breakfast as well and the front desk personnel were so friendly and accommodating. I'd go back to Ponca City just to stay in this hotel again. Deserves more than 5 stars for the amazingly low price you pay.

The hotel staff are quite lovely and extremely friendly. I can honestly say I dont know I have ever experienced staff as nice as the ones here. The room is spacious. The bed was comfortable and overall it was quite nice. Mynissues; I wasn't quite happy with the bathroom door which is a slat door with see through slats. Doesn't really give much privacy. My other issue was the smell. I dont smoke. I expected the casino to be smokey. But my room smelled like a lit cigarette. The smell permeates everything. If it didn't smell of cigarettes, i would have given a 4nor 5 star. Needs air purification badly.

Just to be upfront, I did not visit the casino or any of the restaurants aside from the one inside…read morethe water park so this review is pretty much based on the water park. I took my 2 kids for an overnight stay specifically for the waterpark. Booking online was easy, the rooms are about $200 per night and that includes waterpark access. Here's a list of pros and cons: Pros: *Parking was easy and relatively close to the entrance near the waterpark. *I requested a room closest to the waterpark and we definitely got that. *The waterpark is a decent size, much smaller than Great Wolf Lodge in KC but that was a perk for me since I'm a single mom taking 2 young kids. I was able to keep an eye on both of them no matter where I was in the park. *There's a snack cafe inside the waterpark with basic things like hot dogs, cotton candy, nachos, soda, and ice cream. The website says you're not supposed to bring your own food but I brought several bottles of water in my bag and no one said anything. *The lazy river was AWESOME! It's a good size that kept my kids entertained for hours and has jets that push you along in some spots so that kept it fun too. *There are slides for adults and bigger kids and for younger kids too. *There were plenty of chairs to put your stuff, lockers are available too but I didn't feel the need for them. *You can rent as many towels as you want for free, just make sure you return them or they are $15 each. *The restroom in the waterpark also has showers and stalls for changing clothes. The restroom was clean but the floor was VERY slippery when it was wet. I definitely recommend flip flops or water shoes. *Not overly crowded. Definitely more comfortable and more space than Great Wolf Lodge. Cons: *When we walked in to check in, not a single staff member at the desk greeted us or even appeared friendly. Finally a woman at the desk said "last name?" and that was her way of checking us in. *Obviously since it's a casino my kids immediately noticed the smell of cigarettes. Our hotel room on the beachfront side did not smell though. *The coffee shop and the more kid friendly restaurants outside the waterpark were not open, staff did not give a reason for this but it was disappointing as there isn't fast food close and this was my plan for our meals while here including breakfast. We ended up using Door Dash and ordering McDonald's for breakfast the next morning. *Our hotel room was a King bed with sofa sleeper. The room itself was nothing to write home about it, it was very basic and the TV was pretty small considering the size of the wall it was on. The sofa bed was dirty, there were pretzel crumbs on it and the mattress itself looked old and worn. You could feel the springs on it when you sat down. My son slept it on it and said it was fine, for an adult it would be miserable. There was a working mini fridge in the room, no microwave. The sheets/blankets were just okay. The room seemed like it was cleaned very quickly. *The waterpark hours suck. It is only open on Friday - Sunday. Opens at 4 PM Friday and not until 11 AM Saturday/Sunday. Keep in mind, other than a small overpriced arcade there's nothing for kids to do in the casino or surrounding area. My kids watched TV and played in the room but were really anxious to get to the waterpark so that was frustrating. *Most of the lifeguards seem to be attentive, there were a few that you could tell really didn't care to be there. Also I thought there would be more lifeguards, I only noticed 4. *The waterpark used to be accessible to guests only and recently they started offering day passes. I imagine this will mean a bigger crowd. Overall this is a great option if you're an hour or two at most away. I wouldn't drive more than an hour to get here. I would probably come back just because it is closer than Great Wolf Lodge and cheaper. If it gets more crowded due to Day Passes and if cost goes up then I won't be coming back.

Apparently the emergency wasn't that urgent though because he took this opportunity to flip around and get gas. I went in to use the restroom, the bathrooms weren't great but weren't horrible. The casino director (or whatever the suit is) came out seeming flustered. Not sure what the issue was but this was a fun pit stop on my road trip.

We had the most luck on the 1$ machines that are right next to the bingo, in between the enchanted blackjack. In total I watched the two people I was with make well over a grand from the one hundred dollar bill they both started playing with!

The big dinner rolls were awesome but like I said again, I'm gonna repeat myself myself the breading on this chicken fried steak this to be cut in half that is just really super ridiculous ridiculous. I will go back there and eat again. Probably not a chicken fried steak cause I have so much to choose from and everything that I saw there that have been cooked was amazing. Amazing.

My friends and I visited here for our Spring Break away from home. We've been working really hard…read morethe past couple years for our degree so I decided to treat everyone to this stay. I called ahead of time to make sure the pool was open because the pictures are what drew us in to begin with. The person that took that phone call and booked our stay told me "The pool is open, there is just no staff working the pool area. Drinks can be obtained by walking up to Margaritaville form the pool." I was the first one to arrive at the resort and I immediately walked to the pool to scope it out. Ghost town. No furniture, no cushions, no TV's, no activities. Just dirty and empty (during Spring Break). I ran into multiple couples throughout my stay that were ultimately "tricked" by the information we were given about the pool as well. The stairs to Margaritaville to grab our drinks were even closed off with yellow tape. I walked through the hotel, up the elevator and to Margaritaville to grab dinner and a drink. I asked if I could sit on the patio. The said "yes". However, the doors to the patio were locked. When I asked why they said "because the manager said it was too windy" Winds were only 7mph at that time- less than a breeze. There was a time, even, that after being rushed by multiple people at Margaritaville to order before the kitchen closed security approached someone from our group about their outside drink. Which was totally fine with us, we didn't know better but we tried to order before walking her drink back up to the room. They denied her requested and personally walked her up to the room for her to dispose the drink. We had a child with us and this was embarrassing and inappropriate. AFTER all of this they continued to hover over us. The restaurant staff and security. The restaurant forgot to give us our food that we ordered to go so we ended up waiting there for quite a while and the security asked my friend to empty her purse of her closed shooters. We were going to an event after dinner where yes, shooters are acceptable. I talked to a friend of mine from Oklahoma and said this can be normal behavior for casino's, but we did not know better. We are not from this state and we just wanted to have a fun carefree time during our break from school. I hated that we had a child with us to witness this. I felt tricked and lied to along with other guests at the resort. I felt embarrassed that I was the one to book this stay and my friends got treated this way. There were staff I had talked to that were so sweet that I had no problem with by the way. A lot of them were very friendly. The only ones mentioned above caused us any stress.
