We visited the exhibition and followed the guided walk. Unfortunately the museum was just a series of printed information boards. It was probably interesting stuff if you had the time (and inclination) to plough through all of the information but with no interpretation for young children and a lack of interactive exhibits our visit was short lived as we looked after our disinterested youngsters.
The walk was slightly better, although the guided walk booklet isn't really required the paths are obvious and there are interpretation baords at various points. However, it did just feel like a walk round an abandoned quarry (which it is). There is a lot of mention of important fossils but precious little opportunity to see any to the non-geologist there is only so long you can be interested in a series of seemingly featureless cliffs.
Overall, a nice enough place for a walk on a sunny day, with a cafe in case of rain, but we won't be returning and I wish I hadn't paid for the museum or walk guide read more
