Dr. Segerson should receive no stars. I learned a valuable lesson when he performed my Pacer implant.
I was supposed to be the first case in the morning, while being prepped for surgery I could hear Dr. Segerson a few curtains over say to a woman that he would put her surgery at the head of the line.
I had no problem with this because she was probably in worse shape than I was. Then a member of his staff came in and told me that he was "stuck in traffic" and my surgery would be delayed.
I would have had no problem with this either he he would have just told me the truth. When I called him out on this, my surgery went from the first case to late afternoon.
I laid on a gurney for 8.5 hours before my surgery, then he showed up late on top that.
While performing the surgery, I was given a numbing medication for the incision, Dr. Segerson told me it would feel like a bee sting. I knew what it felt like as I had a previous Pacer implant. He then proceeded to punch me in the chest at least 6 times and was very aggressive throughout the procedure. This was just 6 days after having bypass surgery.
Lessoned learned, don't say anything until after the doctor is done with you! What ever happened to " do no harm"?
I would steer clear of this Doctor!! read more
