My wife and I finally decided to get our basement fixed. We had constant water intrusion and…read moreserious foundation problems for year. I tried to get estimates for the work, but few companies even replied to my requests. One national company did come out and give us an estimate that was extremely high. With only one estimate, we decided to get financing to complete the job. Our credit union sent out an appraiser to determine the value of our house for the loan. The appraiser and I were talking while he was gathering information and asked me what the loan we applied for was going to be used for. I explained we were wanting the foundation repaired and he asked if we got an estimate from B-Dry. I had not heard of B-Dry, but I investigated them and decided to give them a call. Marc came out right on time and gathered the information he needed to put together an estimate, which came out to be half the price of the other company for the same work, so we went with B-Dry. On the scheduled day, they the job foreman called me to let me know they were on their way and what time they would be here (right on time). The crew showed up and got right to work. They were very respectful of our home and ensured they would not damage our hardwood floors. They began their job and discovered a minor issue. Marc showed up and consulted with the crew. Marc informed me the gas line would need to be moved in the basement. With my approval, they called a licensed plumber out and got the line moved with no problem. Work continued. Things progressed quickly and efficiently. One of the crew members told me about the experience and relationship of the crew and that it was impressive that a company retains experienced people that care about the quality of work they do. This entire process took less than 2 weeks, and I could not believe the difference from start to finish. We have had several good rainstorms since the work was done and have not had a drop of water in the basement, plus they were able to push our walls back into shape, ensuring a solid foundation. I have had plenty of experience with "building contractors" and this company ranks at the top of the list for quality vs. cost, professionalism, and following through with their game plan to achieve the goal.

If you choose a company, other than B-Dry, you're essentially paying more to cover the cost of their advertising efforts, to persuade you to pay for their excessively priced products and services! We had every intention of seeking more bids after our meeting with Marc Cooper, to explore other similar companies. Well, Marc's eloquent presentation of B-Dry's products and services convinced us that it would not be necessary! We felt incredibly at ease in making the decision right then and there that B-Dry was the perfect choice for us. Matt called ahead, as promised, to confirm his crews arrival time. Matt, Cody, Tim and Jordan immediately took ownership of the 2 projects, the egress window and the interior water proofing, which includes the floor drain system. We are selling our house this year. With the addition of the egress window in the basement, we can now advertise the house as having three bedrooms. This initial minimal cost will lead to a substantial return on our investment, which will be realized upon the sale of the house. B-Dry also installed new window well systems, with drains and lids! I highly recommend B-Dry solutions for all of your waterproofing needs. Matt, Cody, Tim, and Jordan are incredibly meticulous in their attention to detail! They installed the egress system in less than a single day, leaving ample time for their next task. The guys were very respectful of our home and our yard. It was evident that Matt, Cody, Tim, and Jordan were genuinely invested in providing an exceptionally positive B-Dry customer care experience. Ron and Laurel.

Once we had narrowed our search down to our favorites, they then took us back to see those again and had already prepared comps and additional information. They guided us through the offer stage and we successfully purchased an amazing house at a reasonable price in a desirable neighborhood. Even then, they provided some feedback on what we could do to improve the resale appeal of the home when we were ready to sell. However, we frequently felt that as a relocation client (which costs them part of their commission), we were not always receiving their best service. 1. Although they were very familiar with the market and the neighborhoods on both sides of the river, they did little more than drive us around and advise us on areas that might provide resale challenges. They did not bring us a single property to visit. We had to use realtor.com and other online resources to find properties that interested us. 2. We made two separate house hunting trip and felt like we were being squeezed into their schedule on both occasions. There were very few full days of looking at houses. Most days were limited to an afternoon. 3. We were locating to the St Louis area from another state, and were given advice that assumed we understood local real estate laws and terminology. There was little time spent explaining the details at any point in the process. 4. At the end of the day, we found the house. We spent our own time driving around and getting familiar with the area. We had to learn the differences in real estate law. We had to ask for specific comps. We had to make our own call on a reasonable offer. We feel like we had very little help other than getting appointments and access to the houses we wanted to see.
