I cannot say enough about Dr. Natalie McKenzie and the care I received during one of the most difficult times in my life.
When I was first referred to her, I had ovarian cysts and a history of stage 4 endometriosis. I had previously had a cyst drained, and my gynecologist at the time told me I would likely need to see a oncologist if I developed cysts again, so I didn't think much of it. My CA-125 and HE4 labs were within normal limits, and my MRI didn't show anything concerning. We moved forward with a planned hysterectomy due to my endometriosis.
When I woke up from surgery, everything changed--I was told I had ovarian cancer, and that a clear cell tumor had ruptured during the procedure.
I cannot express how much of a godsend Dr. McKenzie was throughout that entire experience. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, but she also brings a level of compassion that is rare. As a breast cancer survivor herself, she truly understands what her patients are going through--and you can feel that in the way she cares for you.
She guided me through one of the most overwhelming and life-altering moments with strength, empathy, and expertise. I always felt supported, informed, and in the best hands possible.
I am beyond grateful for Dr. McKenzie and would recommend her to anyone needing a skilled and compassionate specialist. read more
