I visited for the first time to check out the atmosphere before committing to a new salon and…read morealthough it was nice and cozy for about 5 minutes I couldn't help but hear racist remarks coming from the two girls sitting at the front desk followed by giggling. I'm not sure why this kind of talk would be allowed in a professional setting but they seemed VERY comfortable letting their feelings about Mexicans be heard. I shopped around for a total of 30 minutes and when I went to the boutique side I could hear their giggling grow louder. This is the most uncomfortable and unpleasant experience I've had at any business, my recommendation would be to stay away if you're looking for an inclusive environment.

Went to see Brandon for a simple piercing... to relive a portion of my misspent youth. GREAT…read moreexperience! Hint: piercing "best practices" have changed -a LOT- since the 1980s! Shop was clean, Brandon did a good job on educating me about modern piercing protocols. Discussed my likes/dislikes, placement, aftercare, jewelry options, etc. I pretty much knew what I wanted when I came in the door, so it was easy for both of us. Brandon and I discussed scar tissue from previous piercings, he marked the spot he thought would be best. I verified the spot, picked a hoop, and Brandon got 'er done in no time flat! Wonderful experience! Shop was clean, Brandon was clean, UBSI precautions were followed including proper "sharps" disposal, etc. I'm probably not going to go down any body piercing rabbit holes, but if I did... Brandon would be a great guide! Thanks, Brandon! (Hey, everybody- don't forget to tip your piercer!)

It has been very helpful for my health. Whenever I am there he does extra service for me with other modalities. He doesn't have to do that but he does. He has also offered me free nutritional advice. And he is a good nutritionist. He has good supplements. I don't see him for chiropractor care as I see someone else for this service. I went to see her a week after the install, at which point she took them out completely and then said that she would re-do them, but that she could only cut them into a "short bob" which was not the agreed upon service, nor the service I paid for. I respectfully requested a refund, less the costs of the wefts, which she refused. I subsequently asked for a refund of the botched install only, which she also refused, nor will she give me an itemized receipt for the charges incurred. The owner, Brianna, has offered no help. Do yourself a favor- if you want professional, well installed extensions, avoid Joan and the Rose Room at all costs.
