We are selling our house and the buyer's inspector said the patio GCFI outlet was wired wrong. We…read morehired Corey Sly Electrical to fix it. They determined that the wires (hot and neutral) were reversed and they corrected that problem. Then they tested the GFCI on the outlet and said the GFCI feature didn't work, even though the outlet worked. They charged us $175 and said it would be another $350 if we wanted the faulty GFCI outlet replaced with a good one. They could have gone out to their truck, grabbed a new outlet ($15 value) and installed it while they were at our house. I don't recommend Corey Sly Electrical

My parents had him come out to the house and he gave an estimate of $600.00 to pull the door bell wire out with pliers. We ended up hiring a local handy man. He came and it took less than 5 minutes and he charged my parents 50.00. This is ridiculous to charge this for such a small job. I feel like he tried to take advantage of my elderly parents who are on a limited income. Beware. UPDATE/ Amanda, I spoke to Cory myself and he told me he was going to charge 150.00 just to come to the house and give an estimate. I called my parents and asked if they wanted ti pay that. They told me a lady and a man from Cory sly already came by and told them it would cost $800.00. I was wrong, not 600. They said they would have to tear the wall to get to the wiring and that's why it would be so expensive. My parents declined. So do not gaslight me. How do you know you never came out and you don't even know the address? We called a local handyman he came out and did the job in less that 5 minutes without tearing anything up. Do not try to change the story now. Why charge 150 for some people just to go to the house and not others? Why were my parents told they had to tear that part of the house up to get to the wiring?

Chris Sandoval has once again came to my rescue! I had…read morethree different electricians to try to connect my light over my dinning room table, and no one was successful ! Each one charged me , and I still had no light! Chris was recommend and came to help me! Chris had the lights fixed within ten minutes! After years of no light in the dinning area it was so wonderful! Today Chris came to repair my well which had been repaired by a well service. Exposed "inside wire" was used and openly stretched across my large patio from the back of my house to where the well is located. It was extremely unsightly , and coiled ! I am on a walker and it was not safe for me at all ! During recent rain the wire was completely covered in water. This wire was not meant for outside use! Chris completed the job in a timely manner, and it is very professional looking. Chris ran the correct incased outside wiring ! Very nice, clean, and professional job! I am very pleased with his work, attitude, and expertise! A 1 job well done! I will only be calling Chris Sandoval on any jobs I need a complete turn key job performed in the future! Honest, dependable, and professional workers are hard to find and Chris meets all of criteria !

Had a great experience with the guys from Basin Electric! 10/10 would recommend them to…read morefriends/family. They did a small residential job for me, but despite the size and relatively low cost, they did as high quality work as they would for a much bigger job. You're definitely a priority when you contract with Basin! Jay gave me an estimate and was able to help me get what I needed done for less, recommended ways to improve what I needed done and even showed me a bonus or two! Once I committed with them, I was able to get on their calendar within a week. The electricians come out, verified with me what I wanted done and did an incredible job. Basin definitely has my business for future work - residential & commercial - in the Permian Basin

I called Basin out to see about getting my gate fixed at my small business. They came out,…read moreliterally took a glance at it, did nothing and said there was nothing they could do. They MAY have been there for 5-10 minutes. I received a bill from them for a "service charge" in excess of $100. As a business owner myself, I couldn't believe they would even send a bill, none the less actually expected it to get paid. So I explained this to Lisa in A/R, who then notified me it was the service manager who told her it was a service fee and they expected me to pay it. I have no problem paying anyone for services rendered, as I certainly wish to be paid myself, but to actually DO NOTHING and expect to receive payment, well to say the least, I can't wait until the day comes that I can send my customers bills for doing absolutely nothing and people actually pay them. In the meantime, I'll continue to provide a good service and hope for repeat business in return for payment. I would suggest Basin Electric consider doing the same. Scamming people out of money is not acceptable business as far as I am concerned.
