It was all going okay until after the build was completed and I closed on the loan. THEN, I found out there were multiple bills that were never sent to me after OVER 90 days later! Needless to say this put me in a very bad position. The contractors still have to be paid but the loan is closed. I got confirmation in writing that there were no more bills at completion and prior to closing on the loan. He misinformed me and one of the bills he NEVER sent to me, I had to get it from the contractor... After all this happened Randy Dostal refused to take responsibility for the mistakes or give any type of refund for the fee paid for building the house. Randy Dostal flat out made mistakes and does not care about correcting them. BEWARE: If you are looking to use Thomas Dostal Developers to build anything this could happen to you! We were trying a new concept and, as we thought, home owners want the savings but not the responsibility of building the home. He dumped on us! We picked up the pieces and finished the house. He is complaining on one late bill for $500. So sad. If this is what a person wants, is to get a great home for a great price .....call us. There is no "beware".
