It is made with some ghastly synthetic material that feels like plastic. I feel that I have been "conned" and would like my money back. Where do I return it to ? It is supposed to be guaranteed for 30 days from receiving but there is no return label or address. Andrew Sanders

Anyone with a baby in Paris knows how ridiculously limited the selection of good, quality baby…read moresupplies is here. I mean what's the deal? Why isn't there a central store, a la Babies R'Us, with the latest and best brands from around the world in a central location in Paris? Buying our first set of baby supplies was like piecing a puzzle together, we had to go to like a zillion different shops scattered all over the city for the most basic things, and even then we didn't really find what we wanted and wound up ordering a bunch of stuff online. Unfortunately, the most comprehensive, centrally located baby supplies shop is Aubert. I say unfortunately because their selection only scratches the surface in strollers, toys, high-chairs, beds, etc. Don't get me wrong, they have a ton of stuff --but it's NOT ENOUGH! It's like composing a salad with the traditional ingredients, but none of the exciting, palate percolating elements that you know they have in the salad bars at Whole Foods for example! (I know it was a little random, but I hope that analogy makes sense to you). Despite numerous passages chez Aubert, I think I've only ever purchased one or two things since I can never find what I want, and to boot, it's totally expensive and the service leaves much to be desired.

I'm in love with this store…read more The cuteness factor is a gagillion percent but yet everything is super tasteful and carefully crafted that it's not too sweet for the senses. Owned by the same person as Objet Celeste, the jewelry and lighting across the street, Ursa Minor carries her keen eye to the rest of the home, specifically the kids room with pastel colored hanging mobiles, paper maché flowers, quirky bookshelves, woven baskets, paper streamers and knitted flag garlands. Every which way you look there is something original and incredible to add some pop and personality to your kids room, but not just. You could really accent the rest of the home with the stuff too. I picked up some fantastic pillows for my son's room at 18E a piece that would look amazing on a reading chair or couch as well. Aside from the great decor, there's also a well-edited selection of toys, clothes and accessories, like hand-crocheted tiaras painted in delicate pastel colors, do-it-yourself plane kits and ceramic dishes. As if that weren't enough the saleswoman who works there is a total sweetheart! Really a five star establishment in every sense of the term! And after your shopping spree you can pick up a slice of gluten-free cheesecake at Helmut Newcake across the street.

It is definitely not something that can be done online or in a short amount of time. I visited Bébé Cash with a friend of mine and her one month old baby. We were able to test a broad assortment of strollers (Peg Pérego, Maclaren, Graco, Red Castle, Quinny - NO Bugaboo however) and the staff was very helpful demonstrating the various features. They also carry a pretty good range of carseats, stroller & carseat accessories, Petit Bateau baby clothes, baby carriers (Baby Björn, Mobi Wrap, etc.), bottles, pacifiers, baby bathtubs, etc., etc. - pretty much anything you'd need for you or your baby. The space seemed small at first, but there's an upstairs and a side room (where the strollers & carseats dwell). The selection overall is well edited so that there are items at both high and lower price points. (note that I did not say low price points, b/c that does not exist here). The staff generally was helpful and patient with our limited French although they did seem a bit harried and communicaton between them was a bit lacking (we got to the register and the woman didn't know that we were purchasing the stroller or how much it cost). Overall, I'd probably come back here for baby gifts and possibly buying some essentials if/when I'm expecting my own little one. Note: They have a restroom that can be used if you need to nurse (or pee!) Strollers seems to be able to move through the store fairly easily.

The product images online are very misleading. The quality of the product I received was not a $100-looking product but one that should have cost $30 maximimum if not less. Smallables customer service failed to address or assist or reply with any help to my emails but chose to stonewall at arms length with a scripted vague unhelpful repetitive reply ....basically I'm lumbered with a wasteful shoddy product I do not want and sending back is a charge costing more than the product itself. Smallables have no real returns policy... basically if you pay for the product you have to keep it as the cost of return exceeds the cost of the actual product, therefore the returns policy is misleading, dishonest, unacceptable and ...a scam. I gave Smallables every opportunity to reply and rectify the problem (as most viable Brands that ship internationally provide a discounted rate of return or free returns ) however they prefer to 'take the money and run' for short term gain rather then nurture consumers who will allow them to grow their Brand and Business for long term success. I value and definitely support small businesses but Smallables should become Minuscule's or better still Invisible's based on this experience. Reputation and reviews are everything in a very competitive online marketplace. Thanks for reading.

In response, company shipped the product in a different color not ordered or wanted. After trying to contact them several times about returning, received an email stating they would send over "paperwork" only to never hear from them again. I've emailed. I've called (phone disconnected). I am now stuck having to pay a chunk of change to return a very heavy box to them overseas so I can start a chargeback with my bank. Don't be a fool and shop with these thieves.
