The day before the meeting, we got a late night email saying basically, "Sorry, we screwed up your estimate. Your kitchen is now going to cost you $20k+ more than we told you. Plus we need to reschedule our meeting for tomorrow to the following week." My wife and I are incredibly disappointed, as these owners seemed decent and thorough. No way are we going to work with contractors that bait and switch with the estimate, and/or make $20k mistakes in their estimates. Completely unprofessional. I never write reviews, but once I got the email from the owner blowing off the meeting and saying your kitchen is now $20k more than I promised, that's it. Do not work with this company.
