Great experience, I Highly recommend Paula Barrera when buying a home…read more The Wife and I wanted to buy a house and did not know the first thing about the process. We looked in yelp and wanted to contact her based on all the great reviews. Paula was very professional, responsive and honest. She is also very attentive to her clients and a breath of fresh air for this industry. She quickly became invaluable to our needs and the best person for the job. When we called and spoke to her, she promptly made time to meet us at her office or a place of our preference. Before the meeting she sent us a booklet by email (authored by her!) that lays out the process very simply. It prepared us for the meeting and process as a whole. The booklet was a very helpful and a nice surprise we didn't expect. When we met we knew right away we would go with Paula as our realtor. She was very forthcoming, professional and ethical. The type of person that you want to do business with and lookout for your interest. She already had an idea of the area we were looking in and our needs based on the phone conversation. She prepared a folder with research of the market in that area and explained us the numbers what they meant and what we would expect. She is also a very knowledgeable and a great communicator, thereby making us know we were in the right hands. Through out the process she used her expertise and smarts to guide us and help us understand better what it was we wanted and what we would be looking at in term of the process, the time, and the possible costs associated with buying a house. Paula would promptly answer her phone, text us or email us when we had questions. She returned calls with answers to our concerns very quickly. She also was right-on regarding her opinion on worth of houses and repairs we would need. Her guidance helped us to make a better decision and we are grateful that we were able to work with her on buying our first home. She was also very flexible and understanding of our schedule to show us houses when our schedule allowed. She leverages technology to make things happen quickly. She asked our preference and based on that used Phone, email, text, personalized timeline to not miss timelines, easy electronic documents and whatever else technology is available! This made it very easy to communicate, keep deadlines and sign contracts when making an offer. It saved us lots of time and stress! Finally, for closing she also made a nice organized binder with all the documentation we would need. I appreciate such attention to detail, that binder was a huge time saver and put my mind at ease from having to do that myself. In summary, Paula made the process smooth and enjoyable as it can be. She is the person you want on your side when buying a home. She's one of the best!

Of course, that led to a short amount of research...which is why we couldn't be more appreciative that Kathrin was the one that led us to the process. I don't think we would have ended with our dream house otherwise. We entered the market probably in the most competitive it's been in years and without Kathrin's negotiation skills I don't think we would have gotten offers accepted! I can't compare to other realtors myself, because this is our first time in this process, BUT we got to experience through other friends buying a house at the same time and the MANY questions their realtors didn't answer or provided help with throughout the entire process. We honestly felt spoiled to have Kathrin because our process was easy, and she was always there to guide us at every step and I mean EVERY step! She is extremely professional, very efficient and a fearless negotiator, 100% recommended!!!

I browsed online to gain an idea of the types of apartments available for my budget but after seeing multiple listings with the same photos and different addresses, I was spooked and immediately sought professional assistance in Marcela. Given the pressure I placed upon myself with a last minute move, I was happy to have an experienced realtor on my side. Marcela was a great asset, not only because of her real estate access but also because she understood my situation and understood there was no room for error nor delay! After discussing my requirements for a South Beach apartment, Marcela sent over select listings via an online portal, which also gives access to all of the listings for the area. I was thankful for the listings she selected but decided to look through the 214 available listings to ensure I found the absolute best option. Having the freedom to leave no stone unturned, creating notes viewable by Marcela via the portal, and feeling informed of every possibility was an empowering experience. With lofty goals, of the 214 listings, only 1 listing fit my criteria. Discovering the unicorn listing was a blessing, but I knew we had to act quickly. Within hours of notifying Marcela, she video chatted me from the apartment, and confirmed it was as beautiful as it's photos. Immediately after, she prepared and submitted my offer!
