May 2nd I initiated a request for my medical records from CH / SFH Nassau Chest, Broadway, Massapequa, NY. Three plus months later....and counting. The level of incompetence is staggering. Records are requested from the CH office, to an off-site data business, (of their esteemed choosing) manned by remote staffers...without phones. The staffers are incapable of reading a TWICE printed name, and therefore return the record request to the patient.... via mail...without further question. Luckily my post office delivered the rejection notices to me upon my address, not the incorrect names. C'mon people....somebody...somewhere in one of these two facilities must have a little common sense, and the courtesy to do their job. How pathetically commonplace this lack of basic customer service has become. Idiocy at its finest. read more

I am the worst patient, the whole office , makes you feel, comfortable. They even sent me a letter I had to sign for, to remind me to get my yearly X-ray .no, office has gone that far. Mary, Seaford, NY. read more

With two convenient locations in Nassau County, we provide staff that is highly experienced with the treatment of a broad range of pulmonary diseases and breathing disorders in adults and children. At Nassau Chest Physicians, we perform diagnostic and therapeutic breathing related procedures in our fully equipped pulmonary function testing laboratories. My girlfriend had a new patient appointment at 9:15am today. We arrived at 9am to fill out forms…read more At 9:25 while waiting to be taken back after filling out forms they told us her insurance isn't taken here anymore. We have had this appointment scheduled for a month. Her insurance hasn't changed. The office has had her insurance information since she made the appointment. They could have called us at any point prior to 9:25am today and we could seek care elsewhere. The front desk staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. This is a practice that needs to be absorbed by a bigger hospital organization and ensure competent patient care. We wasted our time and my girlfriend now has delay of care in tending to her active medical issues. Completely unacceptable. Do not go here.

Dr. Khanijo is a good pulmonologist, but his office staff leaves much to be desired. They are…read moreimpersonal, and non-empathetic. During the day the plumes of smoke came down from Canada, I was having difficulty breathing and eventually had an asthma attack, I ran out of medication. I called them several times during the day and his office staff was very uncaring. They told me to wait, and after the 4th phone call I did, until 5. When I called back, the office was closed. I called the emergency service and left two messages with the on-call doctor who never called me back, nor did he refill the prescription. I had to call my primary care physician who refilled my asthma medication. I called Dr. Khanijo's office the next day and expressed how I didn't appreciate how I was treated. The receptionist kept telling me she understood. Obviously she didn't or else she would have made sure the doctor received my message. Perhaps she did give him the message and he didn't refill it and went home instead. Whatever the reason, it was not done. She told me he filled it at 5:15 that day, which was a lie. I checked with my Pharmacist and the only prescription they received was from my primary care physician. It was apparent my pulmonologist's office didn't understand what it was like to be an asthmatic who couldn't breathe in a Canadian smoke storm but they did understand throwing up smoke screens instead of taking responsibility for their mistake and making it right. If you are in need of a Pulmonologist, unfortunately I would think twice before choosing this office for your care. There are other great doctors out there with more empathetic office personnel than this one.

I will never go there again, the staff is rude and not helpful at all Dr Freeburg either has no idea on what goes on in his office or he just lies to his patients If you can find another Dr. please go to him do not go to this facility or the Great Neck facility because their staff is just as rude as the Massapequa office. read more
