This is the best gym in town. They have the best equipment. The place is always clean and they provide towel service for free.

I do not recommend this gym…read more Professionalism: The trainer I had was named Alex. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, and even hostile at times towards me without clear reason. I did nothing to provoke him except show up to the sessions that I paid for. To this day, it's still confusing and alarming. Sessions: Alex did not show up to two sessions and left in his vehicle while I was still exercising for one of them. I was always sore after workouts, but it helped to have a trainer who was actually present and showing up to sessions. Waste of time and money if they aren't there. Cleanliness: The bathrooms in this gym are extremely filthy. Every time I went, the toilets and the sink were not working. I told Alex about it and he didn't want to hear it. He brushed me off and told me he was aware of the issue, yet it was never resolved. The bathrooms are worthy of an OSHA complaint or a health department complaint. I considered completing one, but chose to get my refund and get out of there as fast as I could. Extra detail: I am a woman and Alex intimidated me in front of people. Knowing that he is a man, and I was on a contract made this situation unbearable. It made me feel like I couldn't defend myself without potentially losing my hard earned money. This kind of power imbalance is not OK. If you are a woman, please consider a different trainer who will not intimidate or try to humiliate you simply because he can.

I want to give a special shout-out to Bre, one of the VTL instructors. She's the instructor whose class fits my schedule, so she's the one I see most often. Whether she's leading a VTL class or managing the front desk, she's always approachable, encouraging, and willing to answer questions. She has a way of motivating everyone who walks through the doors, regardless of where they are in their fitness journey. I also want to recognize the entire White Lane team. Bre, Manny, Kacey, Luis, G, and Natalie consistently greet me by name and make me feel welcome every time I walk in. That may seem like a small thing, but it makes a big difference. Their kindness, encouragement, and willingness to offer advice when I ask are a huge part of why I've remained a member. I also have to give credit to the VTL program itself. I started taking VTL classes in 2022, and staying committed to strength training has completely changed my life. Since then, I've lost over 100 pounds and have progressed from taking guided classes to confidently lifting weights on my own. Over the years, several VTL trainers have come and gone, and each one has contributed something valuable to my fitness journey. They taught me how muscles work, proper lifting techniques, and, most importantly, why strength training is so important for women. Those lessons gave me the confidence to continue challenging myself long after class was over. My journey isn't finished yet, but I can honestly say VTL helped lay the foundation for where I am today. I would hate to see this program leave White Lane because it truly changes lives. For me, it wasn't just another fitness class. It was the beginning of a healthier, stronger, and more confident version of myself. Thank you to Bre and the entire White Lane staff for creating an environment where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and supported. You make a difference every single day.

The staff when you enter are always very courteous and with a smile. My daughter attends the kid zone, and I gotta shout out, Jamie. She is awesome in every way. I dont know how much the prices are but im pretty positive it is worth it if you make it worth it. I've gone a few times already during buddy week and I still haven't made up my mind about actually joining but I love how the staff does not pressure you on joining or gives you a hard time about continuing to go during buddy week and not joining yet. The staff at the front desk is always so friendly and just kind. And the instructors I've had are awesome. They are all different in their teaching routines but they all give you a great workout! I literally have walked out of there, limping and for days iam sore in my arms and quads. The place is a huge open room and it does get hot in there but it does have fans going. During the workouts, people are able to go as fast and as hard as they can and it really does seem like a no judge zone. For the month of August buddy week is ending tomorrow but I will be back for buddy week next month with my co worker who is a member!

This attack came after the person made a complaint regarding one of the trainers, which I was a witness of such complaint. This event makes me afraid to voice my own future concerns and I no longer feel safe in this facility. Regardless of the current or previous situation between the affected parties it comes to the bottom line that an employee had a physical altercation with one of your paying customers. I've been training with him for over a year now and I've grown a lot more confident coming to the gym to work out on my own with weights and other machines instead of just heading to the treadmill. Planet Fitness makes working out affordable and fun! This location is clean, gym etiquette is great, and I feel like weights are frequently racked back up rather than being left on the floor. I am especially happy to get my workouts done in the mornings or day time not only because it's less busy, but also because their staff is very welcoming and top of it. However, I find it difficult to find paper towels or bottles filled with cleaner when I come here in the evenings. Despite that, I am so glad to have a gym that's open 24/7. It's very convenient and accessible, so overall I'd say PF is worth it!

The steam room is one of my favorite amenities, and I really appreciate how good of a job the staff does at maintaining the cleanliness of the steam room. I've also become a fan of the cryolounge recently. It's a great and comfortable way to get some cold therapy. I'll even do some remote work on my phone after my work out while chilling on one of their cryolounges. Their staff is very kind and attentive. They always have a welcoming smile and are sure to say bye on the way out. They're consistently cleaning the towels and do a great job upkeaping the equipment. This In-Shape location has a good selection of free weights and machines. It can fill out a bit at peak times, but I have always been able to find a way to get a full workout in. I do wish they had a dedicated space to stretch, do yoga, floor based workouts, and cardio such as ladders, boxing, or even dancing. They had 2 dedicated spaces for this when they first opened this location, but these spaces are now used for group classes. The larger room on the base floor is still available for free use when classes are not scheduled, so keep an eye on the schedule if you want to utilize it for your workout. While I miss being able to do all the activities mentioned before in those rooms, it is great to see the rooms utilized to their fullest with the group classes.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel parents deserve to know what to expect…read more I enrolled two children in paid swim lessons at In-Shape Seven Oaks. These lessons are not included with my membership. They are a separate service that I paid for, so I expected them to be run professionally. Unfortunately, the lesson started about 25 minutes late and ended 20 minutes early. My children did not receive the full lesson that I paid for. That is simply unacceptable. After I raised my concerns, several other parents shared that this has been an ongoing issue for them as well. One family told me this was their third week experiencing the same problem and that they had already brought it to management's attention, but nothing had changed. That was the most disappointing part of this experience. I do want to recognize Carolina, the swim instructor. She has been wonderful with the children, and this review is not about her. It is about the lack of organization and accountability from management. Seven Oaks has a reputation for being one of the premier In-Shape locations, and I expected much better. If you're going to offer paid swim lessons, they should begin on time, end on time, and provide the full instruction that families are paying for. Parents arrange their schedules around these lessons and spend their hard-earned money expecting the service that was advertised. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary changes so future families receive the quality of service they deserve.
