As is my usual fate it was not my insurance that changed. SHE decided she was no longer taking Blue Cross Blue Shield. I was devastated. I have no complaints about her treatment. I am surprised that after all the good she does she would do something like that. Periodically I would call to see if she has changed back. I'm always told "no". I don't bother now. I've finally gotten used to my new doctor's bedside manner! If she takes your insurance, lucky you!

I recently had a colonoscopy at Westmed at Ridgehill. While my physician and the staff were overall…read moreexcellent, I have to say I was extremely upset and distressed at the lack of privacy for the procedure. The room I was in for the actual procedure had at least eight beds in it, all separated by cloth curtains. There were both men and women patients, and the doctor and the nursing staff were running in between patients for their procedures and for their recoveries. I was required to undress completely while separated only by cloth from the next (male) patients on either side, probably a maximum of 6 feet away. We could hear everything from each other's anesthesia instructions, to the results of the test, to the follow up instructions about recovery and passing gas. It was really an unacceptable lack of privacy. I felt like I was in a cattle corral. I've been a Westmed patient for many years. I've had several colonoscopies and I've never been in a public area like that during the procedure. I am 76 years old, female, and I'm increasingly appalled at the corporatization of the care there. Summit management should be ashamed and should reconsider their lack of concern for patients since their takeover of Westmed. There is so little regard for a patient's dignity or privacy when everything is sped up and organized to maximize quantity and profit. I'll be going somewhere else for my next colonoscopy.

After multiple visits and imaging, communication and follow-up were extremely poor. I requested a simple call to review my CT results but received no response and was only contacted 20 days later. In the meantime, I was billed for the scan without getting timely results or a clear care plan. The lack of communication and delays made an already difficult recovery more stressful and costly. This needs serious improvement.

After I forwarded a lipid (cholesterol) blood test requested by my primary doctor to Dr. Taddeo so she could adjust my statin prescription, she refused to increase the strength of my statin, nor reduce its strength based on the blood work unless I came into her Bronxville, NY office in person so she would receive her fee for my office visit. I had already provided her full fees for 3 prior office visits during the year 2025 with my most recent visit on Sept 2025. In October 2025 she received my lipid blood work but refused to discuss my lipid dose requirement with me by phone and then voided my lipid prescription and several months of prescription renewals from the Fleetwood Pharmacy. Her actions may have put my life in danger since I had to scramble to find an alternate doctor to provide me with my statin and for some time I had no statins to take. I am age 71 and the statin prescription helps me fight the following illnesses: high cholesterol, two leaky heart valves, one coronary heart artery partial blockage and partial blockages in both my carotid arteries. HER PATIENTS NEED TO MOVE ON TO A CARDIOLOGIST WITH COMPASSION WHO CARES FOR THEIR PATIENT'S LONGEVITY.

Office was clean and neat, staff was kind and professional. After signing in within couple of minute I had meeting with Dr. Ro, who was kind, good listener and able to explain my condition, and explain physical exam process. After the meeting, I was escorted by staff and did physical. It was 4 exams, and every exam was explained well by staff, whole thing took about 1hr. This was my first time and this was actually fun for me. After the physical, they took my blood (I HATE needle, but this was quickly done), and urine. I took little rest in waiting area, and had a meeting with Dr. Ro regarding the result of physical. He spoke in gentle manner and soft, I felt good. I highly recommend Dr. Ro, and I will be back.
