Mr. Petersen and his staff provided exceptional service in the preparation of our estate planning…read moreportfolio. Mr. Petersen thoroughly assessed our needs, and he and his staff promptly and professionally prepared, completed and delivered all of the necessary documents. Our questions were completely addressed, and all follow-up actions were clearly communicated to us. I would highly recommend Mr. Petersen and his staff to all others requiring estate planning services.

We had a relatively complex estate with a diversity of assets located in many states. We found the Estate Planning & Elder Law Center of Brevard online with excellent reviews. To that end we made an appointment and met with Cassidy and Robin Petersen. What we liked about these two professionals is that they were great listeners. My wife and I had children from our marriage as well as children from previous marriages adding some complexity to our own planning process. We also had different ideas, concerns and objectives with living wills and health care power of attorneys. We had multiple meetings with worked through lots of issues and got this important process done. As a former CPA, COO and President of a Private Equity firm I have worked with countless tax and law professionals in my career. As such I have seen great, good and not so good tax and law professionals. Cassidy and Robin are real pros! My wife and I both now feel extremely confident that if something happened to either one of us or worse both of us we have a great estate plan in place and two awesome people who would be there to help my wife or I or our children get through a difficult time. We also liked working with their very attentive and professional staff members who also worked on our plan! We highly recommend this Firm!

I want to avoid the legal risk and obligation of paying the opposing party's legal fees due to this. Do not let this man defraud you. Use ChatGPT for more accurate legal work for free. The one document he did prepare on my behalf was poorly prepared, margins had not been adjusted and there was a spelling error where the certificate of service line is - the word "date" was spelled wrong (other spelling/grammer errors were mine). I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau and make a formal complaint because he kept my money without doing the job. I have emails and a call history I can use to prove he requested the money via Zelle twice for services he didn't provide. There was one call I made to him after 5pm October 14th and one call after 6pm September 25th (the day I hired him without a contract because I believed Yelp reviews were likely accurate). I've reviewed the call history and we only had telephone communications on 11 days since I hired him.

If I could rate a zero, I would. Robin Petersen has caused us more headaches and money than ever…read more My father enlisted his help in planning his estate before he passed and had it amended to include his offispring in the procurement of his house after his second spouse passed. Needless to say, when the time came, Robin Petersen could not offer his assistance, nor speak to us in person nor on the telephone to provide us options. The reason he stated was a conflict of interest because he also planned the second spouse's estate. So, we had to enlist the help of another attorney who straightened things out, but when he asked Robin Petersen for a certification of guardianship for the trust, he couldn't help us, again citing COI. Why would an attorney do that, unless he made an error and won't apologize for it? Do yourself a favor and get another attorney who won't cause you to pay twice (or more).

Me and my husband have repeatedly tried to contact the office with questions and they refused to answer any even though I am listing as one of the POA on their estate documents. They said they had to speak to my mother directly and I asked if I could be on the call because my Mom gets mixed up and doesn't remember information. Several of the names on their trust were miss-spelled and the person on the phone said it was "not a big deal" even after I stressed it was a legal document.
